    I love your very clear ways of teaching fundamental sculpture techniques. These ideas of Bridgeman and other masters who were at Art Students League in NYC. Masses, Balance, Proportions, forms and movement of figure.

    Hey! I've had a question. I'm attempting to build anime figure . The proportions of the original aren't balanced like on your skeleton (longer legs). Is there any specific adjustment? I think i have to shrink the width and elongate the height but then im not sure about proportions

    These gesture studies are all about the figure as a whole so don’t worry too much about the muscles. That being said I like to take long cylinder like pieces of clay and lay them in in the direction of the muscles. Don’t get too distracted by the details though.

    @@AndrewJosephKeith ah! Ok. Because I see that even with you not paying too much attention to the fiber details, the way you apply the clay still adheres to the directions of the muscles. So I guess it gives the illusion of muscle groups despite there being none lol ✌🏿
