I'll be following this method when I pour my men's ring designs. I'm thinking of trying the dipping in thinned down *drywall joint compound* first method to get a smoother finish. I need to try and reduce the polishing time.

sir I have seen this video more than 10 time, I found it really intersting how you are able to do this. I gave it a try but i was not been able to make simple things So, i request you can you put a video which show how this statue are made from scratch. Or can you tell where did you learn this from

Before you started carving away, did you do wax build up technique? How long did it take to build up?

Can you give more details on the wax used? You say it's used in the jewelers industry, but what brand is yours? Where do you get it? It looks like you cut that wax like butter. I've tried 2 waxes, blue and purple. Purple is hard as a rock, and the blue is kinda flimsy and doesn't hold detail very well. And help would be greatly appreciated. Def subbing here

Is that a soldering iron you're using to connect the wax pieces together?

What are the names of the hand tools that you use?

After you pour the plaster, does that heating process melt away the wax sculpture inside? And then makes way for the metal?

Hey man, I know it's an irritating question but I want to make castings for split mold because texture finish is not machined so split die would be expensive, I wanted to know if you vacuumed the plaster after mixing it with wisk.
