The Scubapro Litehawk BCD has been the prefered lightweight travel BC of choice for many divers and now comes in a blue colour to match your kit. The very simple construction is just a padded harness and bladder so the Litehawk will pack down very small and give you an unobstructed feeling in the water as you won't feel the BCD even when fully inflated.

I brought the Scubpro Litehawk from Simply Scuba about a month ago. I've used it about five times now and really love it. It's a great BCD and it's really comfortable when you're in the water. It's the first time I've use a wing style BCD and it's so much better than the jacket BCD. I also like that it's a nice and simple style with no unnecessary pockets or D rings. The buying experience was great from Simply Scuba also. Thanks for all the great information that you are producing, I really love the the channel and you're all doing a great job.
The LiteHawk is my travel BCD and I absolutely love mine! I've got around 40 Caribbean dives in the last year with it and it fits me like a glove and fits in my suitcase with no need for extra luggage. I have the belt pockets pointing down and use them as weight pockets along with the 2 rear trim pockets. Trim is great and I love that it's minimalist without a ton of pockets I never use anyways.

Does the LiteHawk hold you upright on the surface?

@@quake2u Yes, but like other wing type BCD's it takes some getting used to. First make sure you use the trim weight pockets behind the tank and keep the belt weights as far back as possible. Second unlike a jacket BCD, you can't fully inflate the bladder on the surface and forget about it, you need to put in just enough air to float and no more (bulging full bladder = pushes you forward).
I'm about to take mine out for the first time this weekend in Okinawa:)
Would like to see a comparison video between this one and the aqua lung rogue including total weight and price!
@simplyscuba Can you do a comparison between the Scubapro LiteHawk and the Scubapro Hydros Pro
Hello. I Want To Know If I Can Attach A Crotch Strap On The Bcd
How much lift does this bcd have thinking of using this as not just a travel one
Looks Good
Is this recommended for a new diver?
After 4 years since the previous product presentation - nothing changed?
Your product link did not work!
A 12ltr alu cylinder rolls on your back. Getting fed up every dive. 😒 I
Compact - yes, but heavier, than my old big technisub.

And the same as the Cressi Start Pro 2.
Obvious question: How lite is the litehawk actually?

I mean, really. Your clips are so informational. Why not put things on scales as a service for traveling divers?

2,67 kg for size M/L
Its always great to review a BCD out of water.........
Disappointed to see that Scubapro has not used the traditional metal tank buckle that I have on the nighthawk. Any other type of buckle is just trash.
Current model of the Litehawk does NOT have "two heights" for the chest strap. No cummerbund. Shoulda mentioned that.

just add a crotch strap. no need for a cummerbund.
