Great to see a new member of the team! Sorry if I'm late on the greeting. I assume you don't add the clothes in rolls, that you just drop them in. Wish I'd known about this when I went to Japan in 2019.

Use shampoo without paraben and then rinse with a few tablespoons of white vinegar to remove all soap. Then rinse again.

Oh nice, I like the change to the air valve. Not a huge fan of the rubber stopper type on the Gen1 Scrubba. I'd definitely get this new version if my Gen1 wasn't still kicking after many years of use! It's great for putting in sunblock/large bottle liquids and keeping them safe from exploding in your luggage too, I always use it as a waterproof cube when traveling.

Great tip, Just Jessee. Digging how you're using this as a waterproof cube when you're on the road. These versatile items come in so handy! Also glad to hear that your Scrubba is still holding up well after years of use, thanks for sharing your experience with us. 😊 🙌 - Rebecca

I have the “tactical” version of the Scrubba (not that I needed it but I prefer subdued colors so I can stealth camp). I highly recommend it, with a natural detergent like Nellie’s Powdered Laundry Soap. Great for washing small loads, camping, hotel/hostels, etc.

In lieu of a good, natural powdered detergent… Dr. Bronners Liquid Soap (Peppermint is amazing!) and/or Campsuds works well and can do double duty for a multitude of cleaning needs.

The presenter is good, so this is not a reflection on her skills. But in all honestly, this is not a review without actually demonstrating it with water and soap.

Ohhh so you have to roll up your shirts first before tossing them in, got it.

That reduces efficacy so I wouldn't recommend it. It hinders and reduces motion and motion is critical in properly washing clothes - water & soap need to travel through fibers and textiles to remove the dirt and such. Best way is to just throw your clothing item in - don't roll it, don't compress it
