I've avoided these at the supermarket for years because I thought they were a gimmick. Watched video on it, and decided to get one. Truly the best scourer I have ever used. One feature that won me over that you didn't mention is that it is nice and thick so ergonomically so much more comfortable to use than those flat green things.

I avoided these for years as well for the same reason. I just got some yesterday and I now see the light😂

If you want to get just one to try, get the Scrub Mommy. It gives you more options not only in terms of material, but also in terms of water temp-the foam stays soft even in cold water. So if you don't have access to warm water but want a soft sponge, you're covered. If you find that you never use the foam or that it doesn't stand up to rough surfaces to way you'd like, then you'll know to get the Scrub Daddy next time.

I’ve been using the scrub daddy ever since it came out on QVC! When the mommy came out I got it too...they are the only sponges I use. They never smell, you can use on windows, glass top stoves and absolutely will never scratch! Love love them..have given them as gifts a lot and the people are amazed at how they work. Best sponge ever 👍👍👍👍

Thank you for explaining this, especially dipping it in hot water. I had touched those of the grocery store and thought there's no way this isn't going to scratch everything I own. So now I know better!

SD or SM with a tad of dish soap or Bar Keeper powder are my only product I use and they do marvels 🌹

I just started using scrub daddy’s and they are way better then regular sponges. What do you think about the papaya reusable paper towels? So far I am loving them. They are great for spills and quick counter clean ups.

I have both of them and LOOOOVE them... With the scrub Daddy I succeeded to take the white cloud over the glass element of my previously owned & not taken care of properly glass stove top... this with Bar Keeper powder (the copper box). It was almost a miracle... my stove top look almost like new and shine. Now, my second exploit was my bathroom sink. I don't know what the previous owner did in that sink but it was hues of pale fushia pink and powder blue and rough texture. For 3 years I scrubbed and scrubbed and nothing happened really. Then, after I got my scrub Daddy, I took my Bar Keeper & the SD sponge and tried it... I was flabbergasted... it worked fantastic and my sink is now super white, shiny, like new ... soooooo happy! So yes! I will stock up on the SD. Now, I have the SM too but what I find sad is the the sponge "unglued" from the scrubber so now, I have to take 2 sponges instead of one but... Oh! Well! Just discovered your channel... love it... thank you 🌹

OMG, OMG! Previous owner left the stove top all wrecked. It had cloudy circles and a large area where you could see right through the (previously black) glass top, to the burner mechanism below the surface. The stove top was smooth and appeared clean but totally ugly wrecked so I figured I'd have to get a new stove. I saw your comment, had bar keepers friend and a never tried Scrub Daddy. With barely any work all that damage completely disappeared. The stove top is actually back to perfectly shiny black like brand new. Incredible! Never would have thought that was possible. thank you for your Scrub Daddy comment.

I don't know what the previous owner did but it was like... how can I say ... hues of turquoise and bubble gum pink in the sink... probably some kind of chemicals. So, scrub and scrub but the hues stil there. Then I told myself, if it did miracles on the stove top, why not on the sink porcelaine. And I did it... and now, my sink is pure white and shiny like new. Those two together (Bar Keeper powder & Scrub Daddy) are little miracles. So happy that it worked for you also 💜

Thank you for breaking this down. I have the Scour Daddy (Dobbie pad shape) for exclusive use on glass cooktop - cleans hardened spills effortlessly - no elbow grease required and crumbs just fall off under faucet (not sure if Scrub Daddy gets crumbs in crannies).

I was today old when I learned the cutsie smiley face was also a functional design. In cups, the eyes allow you to have a grip if you put your fingers in them (that sounds aggressive, but remember... we're talking about cleaning) And the mouth is for meant for utensils and works well with tongs.

I haven't heard of these product before...i think I'll try it. 🙂

(wee have super hard water, and bad ventilation, so you have to scrub a lot - I am hoping scrub daddy can take some of the hard work out of it). Hadn't heard the cold/warm water trick though. So for the stubborn stains, it would actually be better to use cold water, and then clean afterwards with warm?

i got a 4 pack of the color code scrub daddys. i put the first one in cold water and it didn’t stay to form and when i tried to clean my stove top it didn’t get the grime off either. What happened?

I got both the scrubbers from the dollar store. I really love them (I prefer the daddy in my kitchen) but they seem to fall apart within 3 months. From what I have seen the dollar store ones are not as thick as the original. However, it was a good test to see if I would even like using them.

scrub daddy does eventually get nasty if not rinsed and taken care of. If rinsed well and rinsed with some bleach water every so often, it probably lasts longer.

I'm thinking about getting an Air Fryer. Can you use these items to manually clear the Air Fryer? I prefer to not sue the dishwasher for this.

I thought the scrub mommy has one side of soft foam and then the other side is the same exact material as the scrub daddy.

Here’s a question: how do you prevent mold? I know you can put them in the dishwasher but, the drying process or leaving them out may lead to mold. I ring out my sponges and keep them in a container in the refrigerator door. Would you do the same with these?

I've been using them for a year and a half or so and have never experienced any mold with them if that helps? I rinse them thoroughly, try to clear out as much water as possible and then put its mouth around my tap handle. Looks cute and that way the air will flow through enough to prevent it from getting moldy I suppose. I also feel like they are left with less water than other sponges somehow. Probably because of the material if I'd have to take a guess. Hope this helps :)

So I’ve never had an issue with these molding. They always dry pretty quick for me when all the moisture is squeezed out. I might suggest not putting them into a container because you want them to be able to air our completely and dry. 🙂

@@SAMMYANTHA81 all scrub daddy products are extremely high quality. ive been using them almost since release and never once experienced odor or smell with them. you'll know its time to throw them away when they start "shedding" (the flex texture will start having small bits come off) one sponge lasts months. some other products from them id recommend is the power paste (really good for cleaning light colored walls or any super tough on stain that normal soap wont scrub off) and their steel daddy sponge (good to have on hand, only thing that scrubbed my oven clean, but use gently as it is steel and will scratch surfaces) anything from scrub daddy is good quality and definitely worth it

Had another client I cleaned for today also with this same issue. 2 panes of glass always overlap. The gap is about 1/4 inch

In my opinion All they are is pool noodles cut in slices with eyes & mouth cut out.

I use the scrub mommy for the dishes and one for the kitchen sink

Can the Scrub Mommy even make cheap dish soap last longer? I currently use Scotch-Brite and whatever dish soap is cheapest, and I often have to re-soap the sponge over the course of one washing session.
