By the way, for those lucky enough to have a very small child wishing to help you when you're cleaning, I used to give my kid a spray bottle with water and a clean rag. Originally, I cleaned the baseboards, but after that, she would use it to keep the baseboards clean on a daily basis!

Andrea, try one more thing on your baking pan, Barkeeper's Friend. I used it to remove 11 year old stains of red Kool aid off a laminate kitchen counter, and rust from table legs from a lanoleum floor. I was renting a half duplex for a year, and when I was moving out, the landlord came by to inspect. She was shocked to see the stains gone. She said she had bought the duplex 11 years before and the spots had already been there. No one, including herself had been able to remove the stains. A win,win for me. I got the full deposit back.

i know you commented this many months ago but i would just like to share my personal experience with barkeepers friend. i used the barkeepers friend cream cleanser on a bunch of my pots and pans, but i made the mistake of not wearing gloves. i scrubbed my hands after, but even when they were dry, i felt this disgusting, drying yet slimy residue on my hands that lasted for days, even after hours of washing my hands and using scrub brushes and many different types of soap. my hands also started peeling, and were peeling for days. i just had to wait it out for the full skin cell turnover. it was mainly my fault because i didn't wear gloves, but in case anyone sees this and reads it, just letting ppl know this is a possibility.

Sticker removal ideas: Soak the item in hot water. That will, in most cases, remove the layer of paper so that you can reach the sticky layer easier. Often you can just peel away the whole thing in one. If you can't submerge the item, or are worried you could melt the container/contents in hot water, then just press a cloth with hot water onto the sticker to soften it. Do it a few times and once softened you can just rub it away. Other things I use depending on the situation: Spray liberally with silicone-based furniture polish so it slides off Soak in vinegar Soak in rubbing alcohol. Old bottles of perfume work too! Use white spirit Acetone (nail polish remover) - don't use on plastics though Even lighter fluid works! Obvs patch test and use all methods with caution. And bear in mind you may have to wash it after.. but it saves buying extra products ☺️

Love love love Scrub Daddy and m Mommy. Got all my friends and family hooked. For easy sticker removal.... wet with hot water, spray with Dawn Powerwash, leave for 15 mins and then scrub away.

I became obsessed with Scrub Daddy last year at an Airbnb. I use them all over the house. I really like Bar Keepers friend soft cleanser for stained bakeware. Its amazing what that stuff will remove. 😊

Never thought of the bug guts and scrub daddy!! I live in utah and we have “grease” bugs. When I moved here I asked an older guy how to get them off (they just smear) he said elbow grease 😂

The more u use that pizza tray, the blacker it will get and will become non stick. I have several cookie sheets I’ve been using for over 20 yrs and they’re black and non stick. I clean them with steel wool (they started off as cheap cookie sheets from Walmart)

I use a small net bag (supposedly for underwear etc) for pods, colour catchers & anything else that goes to the front of the machine. I'll always do it now because seeing it stuck on the seal & not doing what it should used to drive me crazy! 😜

That pizza pan looks like the kind with a slight nonstick finish; if so you're gonna have to live with the marks. If it's not, try Brillo pads. You wet the pan, not the Brillo pad. The steel wool is what cleans, not the soap powder. The soap just helps it glide better. When finished with the Brillo pad put it on a soap saver drying rack meant for your soap dish; so it can air dry and not rust. A single Brillo pad should last about a month if you take care of it properly; that's hand washing everyday. Hope this helps. 👵✌️🖖

I don’t know why I feel like I would prefer the sponge hard when the water is hot and soft when it’s cold. When I use hot water is to clean tough spots so I would appreciate a hard sponge/cleaning tool to get the job done.

Sterident denture tablets removes coffee stains from mugs (wait for the water to go clear, then rinse and wipe well). I’ve never tried it on oven trays (I always test on something similar material that I don’t mind chucking, use at own risk).

I really enjoyed this video. The tips and tricks that you shared were very helpful. I do have to say i was a bit disappointed. The whole video, i was waiting for you to share on how to store these sponges in the different areas of your home. I have severe anxiety every time i clean. I know how to scrub dirt with the scrub daddy sponge but i do not know what to do with sponges once used and how to store to avoid cross contamination. This has to be my biggest pet peeve when it comes to cleaning; not really knowing what to do with my tools when I am done with them. Also, do you use a sanitation bucket while cleaning with your sponge or do you just keep rinsing under sink with hot water after every multipurpose use?
