SCRAPS TO FABS Repurposing a pile of textiles into something useful and fun

Hi again! Another monday another crafty entertainment.
My name is Vita, I am a hippie crafty homemaker and I have a pile of projects to share with You today.
I love to repurpose and upcycle textiles and make it useful and fun. So easy now days to just buy everything and waste good textiles, money and all the resources needed to produce it all.
In this video I will show You how I turned a shawl into a top.
Leftover textile from my sofa upcycling I turned into a pillow cover and a bag.
Sharing what I do with all the worn out old t-shirts.
Random scrap textiles to plain white plush toys that my kids decorated.
Beautiful tablecloth turned to fabulous dress.
Many little ideas and projects in one video.
I hope You enjoy it and get inspired.
Love & Peace to all!

Hiya, you are really coming into your own style of video and I'm loving it! I also sew without patterns and recycling and redesigning clothes from charity shops is my passion too. I live in Cromer, Norfolk, England UK Can I make a suggestion to grow your channel? How about contacting other people from other channels and do a thrift swap? I follow Addie at Well Loved clothing, who also does similar things? Keep doing what you're doing. Jane xxxx

I know English is not your first language, and your doing your best, but could you please stop calling it "textile"? In garment sewing we use fabric. Textile is an overall term for fiber-based materials, including fabric, but not synonymos with fabric. Also, we sew with thread, not yarn.

Thank You very much for the info. I agree with the thread. Yarn is for knitting. It was a lazy habit. Looking into Textile, Fabric, Cloth definition... Very specific differences. I have been thinking of a tern Textile Arts. This is what I looked up: In general, fabrics are materials that have been through additional processes. A textile refers to the base materials that are made from woven fibers, but as soon as other processes like stitching are applied in order to utilize those materials for making clothing, they are considered fabrics. very specific... I also looked up generally, between England, Canada, US and Australia.... Casual language may vary... Like : my husband says a trunk, I say the boot. Trash or Garbage.... But meaning the same thing... But thank You very much for the note, I will be more aware for sure.
