I remember when I was a kid me and my friends used to play security breach IRL like on the sidewalk. This was actually the first Scp I ever knew (my friends forced me to play it with them) so this was a bit of a nostalgia trip :)

they have a huge backlog of videos, the guy who does the voice has his own channel and he mentioned that he recorded episodes for this channel like 2 months ago and he expects it to go up anywhere from a few weeks to a month or two from now. if there’s an scp you think they should cover, it’s probably on the back burner 😂

First of all, "Burning Man" haha, very clever. Makes me wonder how many SCPs have been created because someone thought of a half decent joke and just started running with it. Secondly. ASBESTOS?! ARE YOU INSANE?! You'd think if there was one organization the planet that would listen to the science and know better it'd be the goddamn foundation. Yes, I get that it's for the sake of fireproofing but there are ways to do that without putting every staff member in the area at risk of violent, aggressive, inoperable cancers.

Asbestos is one of the best fireproofers ever used, and as long as it doesn’t get disturbed after its set its not a hazard, only a hazard if its bothered. Learned it in my OSHA 10

Random way to kill 682 was all that came on my mind. Create Flour-antimonic Acid, melt parts of 682's body, then quickly swap acid types that will potentially confuse 682's adaptability towards things. Also attempt to use plasma-type weaponry, hell even, *Go as far as using Antimatter weaponry.*

This is one of the Scps that I don't understand the need of to keep alive. In a XK class scenario, this being would just burn everything and be even more of a nuisance than to keep contained. I'd personally let the GOC have it.

I think the main reason why they avoid terminating SCPs, especially ones like this that have no clear origin, is the fear that it may spontaneously reappear in a harder to retrieve location or form. imagine if they put out the fire and it reappeared in the middle of the California forest in fire season where it would could hide and grow unchecked.

It’s also kinda easy to kill Just use a liquid nitrogen or helium gun (yes those exist) and cool him down to sub zero temperatures

It's all fun and games until the mascot goes berserk

Here’s an idea: make an extinguisher gun, a bulky pistol, where you insert a small tube full of condensed fire resistant foam, and will have a crank attached to a different tube to build up pressure and launch fire resistant foam in a shotgun like radius, will be good for keeping this fiery fiend at bay.

With the current gas prices SCP-457 is doing more harm to the Foundation by being contained that on the loose

I know an endless fule source, though there is a risk of it back firing. Give him the hard to destroy reptile, with its regeneration abilities the flaming man would have an endless source of fule. But I just want to see if 682 would become an instance of the flaming man or if a duplicate of the flaming man would come out as 682 and try to fight the original 682.

This is a dangerous cross test, because SCP-682 might adapt in a way which gives him control over fire, or the ability to manipulate it. Edited to fix a spelling mistake.

Well no ,SCP 096 is in attack for any creatures that has a visual of his face , seeing that SCP 000 is a living mechanism stuck in a computer and can see a SCP for a second when missions is complete or in access ,makes it able for SCP 096 to attack

this was one of my first scps that i liked

I always wondered how technologically advanced the SCP Foundation. Other SCP lores explored that they have a base on the Moon and modified space probes that is able to hurl faster than modern known tech. I mean, come on, they could at least put this SCP made of flames into the Moon base where frankly containing this is absolute since the vacuum of space could dampened or killed this thing completely in an event where it tries to escape. This thing after all can't lived for too long without fuel or flammable materials that needed to sustained itself. Or they could just put this SCP to some underwater base. Hey, if escape, it'll never to see another day as doused by pressure of water from above its head.

Truth is, all of that is possible for the foundation. It just depends on the writer though to actually consider that, and even if they do, "we put the fire man underwater" would be a VERY QUICK ending to the story, so they probably wouldn't include it

I mean, they are not infinite. They can't just harvest every plant and tree in the world JUST to feed it to 457. Just as we cannot do that JUST for coal, they will run out of trees eventually. So they need renewable sources, which plants are not.

So the first victim is named Flower and just stands there as a man made of fire approaches her. Yep, sounds like how a Hippie would respond to said situation (instead of I don't know, doing the sensible thing of running the hell away from a man made of fire).

If the Burning Man can be defeated with fire hoses, then basically the Water Nymph could potentially be the Burning Man's natural (or more precisely supernatural) enemy? Well it does make sense, if both SCPs follow a Pokemon type matchup system (as any OG Pokemon player knows Water-types are super effective against Fire types).

It's a fire elemental. If fire could speak. Just have it burn all of the flesh that hates. "Yo, you can be an atomic fire, just make sure we get a core sample." It's not human. It doesn't empathize, but we could probably make a deal.

The SCP Foundation has both Fireboy and Watergirl.

One of the SCPs is a WATER NYMPH, a being made of water that usually takes the shape of a beautiful woman but has taken many other shapes too. I consider her to be the "water elemental" of the SCP universe and this creature to be the "fire elemental". I wonder if there is an air or Earth elemental in this story?
