SCP-001 , The Doom Guy.

This SCP is actually a rewrite of SCP-517-ARC. For those who don't know what -ARC is, I'll quote the wiki: "-ARC refers to pages which have been archived instead of deleted outright. Archived pages are appended with -ARC. There are a few reasons for a page to be archived rather than deleted. Most often, it’s because an SCP is old and referenced in Tales, and its wholesale deletion would muddle works which reference it. There are also things that Staff simply want to keep around, albeit off the main list. The process for archiving a page is identical to the process for deletions, with suggestions for -ARC typically occurring after initiation of the deletion vote, save the page is renamed rather than culled." In the case of SCP-517-ARC, it was referenced in SCP-035 (though it now references the aforementioned rewrite).

To me the most interesting part of this SCP is someone casually acnowledging the excistance of the SCP Foundation and donating an artifact relevant to this creature. That's something I don't think I've come across in any other story and I think the idea of people who want to aid the SCP from outside is very interesting

There are a few cases I've seen before. One this reminds me of is when MC&D actually donated SCP 2501 because they didn't trust their clients to have it. Though MC&D is usually not to be trusted, they're still smart when it comes to their business.

While certainly inherently malicious in nature, it is a testament to the idea that conflict happens one way or another, both everywhere and anywhere. However, the connections to SCP-1000 help paint a rather vengeful picture, showing that a once peaceful species has it's limits. ...and humans are responsible for its rage. Bottom Line: Do not push a peaceful species around and expect them not to push back. Sure, humans are technically idiots that thought they knew better than a race that was more sophisticated than them, which in this case paints Bigfoot as extremely sympathetic. But whatever the reason someone will argue with my post, one thing is for certain: It is our mess. And we will be picking up the pieces for generations to come

But, they aren't a peaceful species. The Bigfoot species in the SCP universe oppressed humanity. Ironically, they used to be oppressed by the Faye who they than overthrew. Later they treated humanity the same way, until a "trickster god"(possibly a fairy) showed humans a way to beat Bigfoot. There were no good guys.

It would be a battle of an immensely epic scale... ending in a stalemate, as both creatures are invulnerable... and they're both highly intelligent, and might just decide they can cause a lot more trouble for humanity by working together.

Saw the organic machines and immediately knew it was scp 1000, but i thought that after humans killed them there was a time of relative peace after turning those weapons against themselves to forget, and I thought this scp had become small enough to escape, it took my by surprise, I haven't seen other articles with aggressive scp 1000

Great presentation; not going to lie though, I feel bad for the animators on this one. They put a lot of effort into the 4715 character model, but unlike other, more famous SCPs and the generic people who constantly appear on this channel who we see in many videos- here, this SCP may not appear again, so all the work that went into designing him and for this video… hopefully they’ll be able to utilize the model again in the future
