@@louisbocahut4609 Since the Foundation has little to no knowledge prior to finding an SCP, they have a very hard time containing many of them. Especially since most SCPs defy the laws of physics and logic. It makes only sense that they can only try to minimize the threat until a long term study finds an effective containment procedure.

imo, The Foundation is capable of neutralizing a lot of the anomalies, its just that destroying stuff is GOC's business, and keeping everything in check is SCP Foundation's work

No matter what the Foundation tries, the SCP gets its results one way or another. Giving the husband a fake bottle would result in the three guys getting beaten into the hospital with whatever else is to hand. And since the script unfolds in the toilets, seems like a great way to ensure somebody winds up in the ER with a plunger shoved up their ass.

I'm honestly curious on the final play. The foundation have an entire list of precautions for it, yet what the play itself is and what happens in it are left vague, only to prevention methods are known. Perhaps the more alarming fact is that the final play happened before, and could be the reason for the bizarre properties of the SCP.

What about, Cain playing the role of the emperor, given that he is the literal grandson of god, his anomalous power probably surpasses the building’s own, given it’s some haunted location by some sort of ghost. So it might have to improv and make an alternate variant for it to work. Although it might be easier for biblical Cain, as God makes whoever harms Cain take 7-times the damage instead of reflect

In case anyone was curious, the original file does give some more info. In the first script, locking the door of the bathroom results in additional civilians suddenly becoming locksmiths that easily open ANY lock the foundation puts on it, even anomalous ones. If the husband uses the stool, 2 of the men, and the wife are killed and the last man has his spine broken. if security tries to stop the man, he somehow (it does not specify) fights back and knocks out the security team, then proceeds with the script as normal. In the second script it basically just says that no intervention has been successful, but foundation personnel are added to the script if they try to interfere. In the third script the only additional information is that the last full failure of the operation was in 1853, and the last time they had to blow up the building was sometime in the 1900s, the last two digits were redacted. It does not give ANY information on why leader must not be harmed, or what happens if the script finishes normally. It does say that the leader is immune to the neurotoxin they throw in, and that he is psychologically scarred after the script ends and needs to be taken in by the foundation for treatment and counselling regardless of the outcome.

i mean, i had a job as a PR for an italian club (in italy oc) for, like, two years and honestly i would not bat an eye if any of these things happened. italian clubs are just like this.

Why didn't the foundation try to block off the area with high gates making it physically impossible for anyone to get inside and / or using other SCPs to contain it

ngl... kinda annoyed that they didn't explain in more detail for the 3rd event. especially the part where they explain that the leader can't be harmed, yet when they can't remove em from the night club, they decided to blow it up, which should've harmed the leader. Don't get me wrong doe, video is great as always and it's fun watching it, just that they didn't explain the probably most interesting event annoys me a bit.

This was the first SCP file I was ever introduced to, seeing it here makes me happy

I love this SCP, it's honestly one of my favourite ones, but one thing I can't get my head around is that there's a huge plot hole with this one. Even with the Foundation's resources and influence, it would be impossible to indefinitely cover up the mounting fatalities that occur at the club. If it were an isolated location and the scripts happened less frequently, say once a month, then it might be plausible. But it's a nightclub, and the scripts run every single night. Even if nobody remembers the exact events that transpire, the fact that people ended up hospitalised or killed after going there is going to get out and be talked about. And if The Senator's Visit is indeed one of the most common scripts, that's at least two dead bodies and several in hospital, along with a mass brawl. Much as I love this SCP, it wouldn't work IRL. Containment would be next to impossible. Also, I have to question the Plurality Cult script too. I know it's basically like the apocalyptic log trope, where the doomed protagonist writes down every minutiae of their encounter with the cosmic horror entity even as it drives them insane and devours them from the inside, but HOW exactly does the Foundation know they have to stop this one before 3:00am? It's implied to be an XK scenario, but if that's the case, how is there anyone still alive to know about it? Events have to have played out to their conclusion at least once before in order for the Foundation to have any information on the script and its disastrous outcome, but if that HAD happened, everyone would be dead. Unless it's more akin to a CK class scenario, and its effect is localised to the area surrounding the club.

It could be because of the interdimensional hole (forgot number, also, it’s more so interuniversal than interdimensional (dimensions would be 2D, 3D, etc)) Also, they could have been warned by anything from seers to Gods to a TON of anomalies.

I'm interested if changing the location could influence the frequency of certain events. when there was no building a riot would occur frequently maybe if you change it to some other type of building you could increase the cheating wife scenario and reduce the conversion

SCP-453 Is a ritual building used by specific creatures of the night(from a distance) to remember some hystory they've made, all while making fun of human stupidity to don't equip with amulets, protective symbols and silver. Exorcist Angel ^3^

So we aren’t even told what happens if the Pluracy Cult were to be successful in their ritual, that’s a bit of a ripoff :/.

Supposedly, the original cult wasn't able to finish the ritual. However, whatever evil they unleashed with it demands that the ritual be finished so it keeps trying. However, since it was originally stopped, it isn't predestined to finish in its entirety. Supposedly, they tried killing the senator before the assassins start attacking in one attempt so that there would only be one guaranteed death instead of 3. However, when they try that, everyone riots and always kills more than just 3. Remember everyone is there because of the curse, and the SCP will just summon enough people to make sure the script is followed.

No matter what was built on the site, people would be drawn to it to party. I’m just imagining if some corporate work building was built on site, and workers and random visiting people showing up and partying without any acknowledgement of the weirdness and no work ever getting done. Or a government group building being built on the site and then constantly having security breaches of people coming in and partying or even a top secret government group or base being there and people entering and partying and eventually having to relocate. Maybe even just a private property built on the site, and random people entering their house and partying at random. You’re just minding your business at home and then dozens of people show up in your home partying. If a college dorm was built atop the site, I don’t think anyone would notice anything weird about the place. It’d be horrible for security and secrecy if a SCP site has unknowingly been built atop the anomalous site.

If anyone else was confused read on! I read the scp report to try and clear things up So from my understanding, the cult leader isn’t affected by type 14 neurotoxin, any other type will prove fatal. That’s why they use it. The best guess for the end of the world scenario is massive earthquakes. It’s said the last failure was December 16, 1857. On this date there were massive earthquakes in Italy. So this would make sense.
