I've had Scott Steiner mad and screaming in my face before... outside of a show, after a WCW Nitro. People BEHIND ME were chanting "roid rage" at him, since he'd recently been arrested a couple times for various violent acts.. Let me tell you, up close and personal, he's about six times bigger than you think he is on TV. Jeff Jarrett was with him. They were sharing a car that was parked right next to a rail where the chanting crowd was. Jarrett and Steiner FILLED the car, shoulder to shoulder. Don't remember what type of car, but a sedan of some sort. Jeff Jarrett doesn't look that big on TV, but even he was massive in person. Another time Rick Martel was thrown into a railing right in front of me.. I was a kid for that one, but he was about three times bigger than I expected too. Steiner though... geez.

This is why Heyman brought the Steiners into ECW. He was beginning to build Taz into what would eventually become the human suplex machine , and needed some of the Steiners credibility to rub off onto him. You can say what you like about Taz and Heyman for that matter, but Taz was seriously over with that gimmick and Heyman deserves tremendous credit for it. Especially when you look at what Taz looked like as the Tazmaniac just a year prior.
