Scotland Traditional Music
Музыка
Scotland is internationally known for its traditional music. Scottish music is a significant aspect of the nation's culture. A famous traditional Scottish instrument is the Great Highland bagpipe. The clàrsach (harp), fiddle and accordion are also traditional Scottish instruments.
Traditional Music Channel is for everyone who has a passion for music.
Music is an expression of human creativity. UNESCO reports that among all the performing arts, music is the most universal and is found in every society, most often as an integral part of other performing art forms and other domains of intangible cultural heritage.
Traditional forms of music are considered carriers of cultural heritage because they represent expressions and traditions transferred through generations of a community.
With recordings from more than hundred nations our collection of traditional music offers a staggering diversity of our humanity.

If are real scotsman take the crown, we will take it and breake it and we are free. Goddamn, nothing can destroy our history, we won everything, where we see it's worth it, or why they send us out, far away from home for war like India and Egypt? keltic music is very old music...ago 2000 years ago...after that they settled of course also in Britain Islands and left culture like agriculture and dialects in ancient britain hunter gatherer tribes...but dont forget all the tribes involved in being nowadays scottish or irish, it is a celtic language but far away from a celtic race which you even can find in the alps, in hungaria or france. There is nothing like we can call keltic music nowadays, but yess maybe also ancient yodeling or mouth harp/jews harp was used than, but we have no notes or tapes from time before northmen, saxons or romans brought many instruments and new rythm ;) and that i say because i can hear very european rythm but played in a regional very very scottish style.

Mexican music isn't a genre. There are many Mexican stylings. One of the most popular ones being norteno or conjunto music. It's heavily influenced from the oompah bands of Texas which is where they get the accordion. No Mexican music is just from Mexico. It all has American influence. A lot of known styles has nothing to do with anything African or Aztec, it is all influenced American German, influenced by anglo Americans, with inspiration of the Spanish, Italian, and other European styles. All the other Mexican music is those things blended with Afro-Caribbean African slave music. Mestizos obviously picked up on the white European conjunto and mariachi and regional Mexican music and they changed it heavily according to their mixed race tastes and added African influences, but the European roots (especially Germanic) in the music is still clearly there, which they got it mostly from the oompah bands of Texas.

kzread.info/dash/bejne/p5dk1bRme8rRpbA.html Example of a traditional American oompah band. This music became a huge part of large parts of America with immigrant ancestry (all immigration to America came mostly from western Europe). The non immigrant groups played the music of their American ancestors, which in the south was heavily influenced by their Scottish blood. The old-time string bands featuring most often the fiddle/violin, banjo, mandolin, etc. The white folk music of America became known as country music, and the most accurate style that is most similar to this natural music is called bluegrass music today, which is much different than folk music but maintains it's native roots and shows a very clear Celtic and Anglo connection to the founders and settlers of America. This is a small example of what was called country music or folk music. Very old recording. kzread.info/dash/bejne/d4qszNCRdaionrg.html Here is an example of what is known as "bluegrass music", which is a modern genre of music not directly considered folk music, but has obvious connection and is still a style that stays true to roots. kzread.info/dash/bejne/mpx5wa2AZNK0dNY.html
