I put it in the truck to go down there these days so it's not a full day of riding. I did recently ride to the beach and back with the scoot though and it ran great. Actually gained a subscriber because I passed him on the highway. 😁

@@49ccscoot are you keeping track of your cylinder? And other wear parts ? Would be fun to see the differences of wear and tear on a high end machine like this. When you do decide to swap parts around :-)

It's mounted to the frame with an EyeOfMine mount. They don't make them anymore and I wish they did. Big mount that does a good job soaking up vibes. This is what I've picked up since and they do a good job as well : amzn.to/3regQle (affiliate link)

Some nice cars. It's interesting that guy wanting to buy T2. The sum of parts has a price I guess. But how many hundreds of hours have you spent building, breaking and modifying it? Way to many to count.

I get asked quite a bit at car shows. I think most probably want make and model like they're just gonna put one in their shopping cart.

I probably could have adjusted the idle mix leaner. It also has a rich area at low throttle, which is necessary if you want to cruise faster at low throttle. I could lean it out, but EGT is good at 50-60 barely on the throttle and this is an actual rider, not a drag scoot. I can't hear the engine with some loud cars or just get paranoid and hold the throttle a little and then it's right in the rich zone.

Ok so if i wanna buy 1 of these to build up just like this, what is the easiest platform to start from?

The engine has 2 versions that can bolt into scooters that have a Piaggio or Minarelli horizontal two-stroke. Lots of options there. Mine's a Chinese scooter with a Minarelli clone, but the Zuma is the most popular. Ryan, in other vids of mine, swapped one in a Honda Ruckus and that's a popular long/low build that's not prone to wheelies so you can use more of the power, but it has to have a mount kit or weld on a mount yourself for that. I think the easiest would probably be something like a Yamaha Aerox or an Aprilia SR50. The Aerox was a liquid cooled Minarelli... so you wouldn't have to find a spot for radiators on a scoot that's air cooled originally. The Aerox was never in the US so you won't find one cheap. The Aprilias came in Piaggio and Minarelli versions (as well as Morini, which you don't want) and were liquid cooled.

@49ccscoot and as far as engine kits and general mods where should I source that stuff? And thx for the response I REALLY appreciate it as a new addition to the scooter world. I'm currently heavily into chain drive gopeds with reed valve 2 stroke engines and im starting to realize that im getting too old for the stand ups lol
