Thank you my brother!! We had a great time for sure! Some awesome art on the tables! My Corvette Custom was a top ten winner and ZoZo took 1st place in Juniors 11 and under. She was so excited! (And so was papa! LOL) Matt bought her a VW Beetle kit and she already wants to airbrush it pink! Haha Btw, there is a show this weekend (the 27th) in Fuquay Varina put on by the Raleigh IPMS club. It's a little complicated, but here is the Nova/Chevy II explanation: when this car was introduced in 1962 its full name was the "Chevy II Nova 400" and it was available as a two and four door Sedan as well as a station wagon. There was also a convertible and a two door hardtop. Those two body styles were only available as the top of the line Nova Models. In 1963 the Nova models got an SS option, available only on the Novas. Starting in 1968, GM started to move away from the Chevy II name, and the car was as just the Nova in the sales brochure. By 1969 the Chevy II name was gone altogether. This information came from a Motor Trend article on the history of thr car.

I really like these videos if model car shows & swap meets. I have some models that i've had since the late 90's. I also have two 1:46 scale Dale Jr. #3 due cast cars from 2002. One is the #3 Vanilla Wafer car, & the other is the #3 Nabisco Oreo car. They're still in their original packeges from Winners Circle. Kind of curious as to what they might be worth now. At the time that i bought these( one from wal mart, the other from Ebay), i paid $20 each.

That was David with “PPP” plastic performance products. His tire, wheels, basis roll cages and accessories are VERY well researched and awesome quality! A number of hobby suppliers carry his line!
