Ойын-сауық

I ran into a couple of schools of huge mackerel, so I decided to use some as bait.

I bought two shirts at the fisherman's life street fair. I've washed them a few times and they've held up great, also very comfortable. Thank you.

Do you have a video of how you tie up your Halibut rig by any chance? Great vids by the way!

Thanks! I personally don't but there are a lot of videos online. Just search up how to tie a "trap rig"

Another great video! I really have zero suggestions except to say maybe some whistling would have pissed off the halibut and made them bite harder? How frustrating but still entertaining, thank you for sharing with us again!

smaller bait works best.. so they can inhale it and get those hooks set proper

I think what you see on your sonar screen is the bait and weight, not a following fish, if it was a fish it would be on right away.

No, I often see fish come up, investigate, and go back down. It doesnt just stay behind the bait the whole time. Plus, if you look at underwater videos of halibut, etc. you can see they follow fish around a lot before hitting sometimes
