Dear football fans, as a long-time Flagrant listener and as an MMA fan (and football fan), I am glad to invite y'all to the pain we suffer when we listen to the boys talk about MMA. For those of us who follow both football and MMA, it's extra pain but for those of you who are just football fans, get ready to hear some of the worst but funny takes that the boys have to offer, and just know that that pain you will feel is temporary, FLAGRANCY is permanent.

I think Ronaldo is the poster boy for great talent, coupled with immense mindset and hard work. When you look back at Ronaldo during his early career at sporting Lisbon he wasn’t a world beater he made himself into the greatest player in the world (for a time) but then you look back at Messi at aged 5, and you already see a proper genius. Even look at Messis first game for Barcelona and you could see hints of what he was going to become. Basically Messi is a gifted genius and Ronaldo made himself a great. I don't think people give enough credit to Ronaldo for becoming what he became. Messi was curated and given treatment completely paid for by the best football Academy in the world. Ronaldo grew up very poor into his teens and lost his father at a young age. He always had the reputation of first one in, last one out. Both are extremely talented, and Messi still needed to work extremely hard in order to reach his level, not everybody in La Masia gets to GOAT status. I just think more credit should be given to Ronaldo for having to start from less and people need to remember hes two years older. We have no idea where Messi will be in 2 years.
@piyushbisht1869

Myth. You can't stay at the top for 15/17 years just because you are gifted. Maradona, Dhino, R9, were immensely gifted. Their lack of discipline cut their careers way short that what they could have achieved. Discipline and hard work has to be there, it is just that Cristiano has better advertisable physical gifts.
@piyushbisht1869

@@piyushbisht1869 Exactly...I am so fcking tired of this bullshit comparison that Messi has talent and Ronaldo has hard work. Just bcoz Messi doesnt post pics of his abs and muscles on instagram - they say this. Both worked hard. Both worked on diff things - Ronaldo worked more on Finishing, jumping, running - moulding his game to became one of the best goalscorer this planet has ever seen - Messi conc on passing, dribbling, finishing and became one of the best football player.

Respect and love from Dublin Ireland 💯

@piyushbisht1869

@piyushbisht1869
