Man, I've had the wind knocked out of me and was gasping for air. Years ago I fell flat on my back. Knocked my wind out. That shit is borderline scary trying to breathe. I wonder how fighters deal with that? I've seen fights end like that. Fighters got hit just right and knocked the wind out of them. If you know what I'm talking about and had it happen to you, then you know what I mean. Wind knocked out, is 99.9% a KTFO or TKO. Remember the newslady squashing the grapes and falls and gets the wind knocked out of her? All she could do was squeal and make noises. That's what I'm talking about.

I agree with everything you said except for being graceful in defeat. I think it’s quite the opposite. The only thing I dislike about Izzy is how he handles his media stints. He’s either making cringey insults or excuses like he is now. He’s one of my favorite fighters from a pure fighting perspective. An absolute pleasure to watch. His movement & creative feints are masterful. But to come on here, make fun of Alex & talk about “I was going to back out” and “my leg was dragging” is not very graceful IMO. Graceful is saying “yeah, he got me again. He was more prepared than I expected. Next time I will be prepared to go out there & take it from him.” Something about the way he’s handling this makes me feel like he’ll never beat Alex. It’s like he’s making up reasons that he’s lost to him 3 times instead of just accepting it. If he can’t accept it, how can you expect him to properly strategize for the kind of fighter Alex is? You have to put Alex away. Letting him stand with you for 25 minutes is way too much time to get KOd. All it takes is one shot & Alex isn’t afraid of Izzy. I really want Izzy to beat Alex next time. I think this was good for the division though. I just hope that Izzy takes a more level headed approach & leaves his ego at the door, because that will be his downfall if he can’t.

@@IEdjumacate you're Right about Adesanya 💯. Hes a Fantastic Fighter. But the bottom line is he doesn't know how to beat Pereira. He hasn't found a successful strategy, and that's with Takedowns and mma ground grappling. He should just admit Hes a better fighter. Wether its strategy or just physicality, Pererira just has Izzzy figured out. And Izzzy has no answers for the Left hand, except for corny excuses and false humility. Adesanya is a Great fighter but has terrible character and Ego problem.

@@IEdjumacate bro I respectfully disagree first of all what is cringe and what isn't comes down to perspective and what ur standard of cringe is to me he's just expressing himself I don't think he's cringe at all (except for that Elsa line obv to be fair😂) but it's not like he lost like Cormier did and there is no rivalry he got robbed the first time and the second and now he lost and said his leg was compromised which it was and gave alex props and said the stoppage was fair but his leg was indeed compromised and he was superior for almost the whole fight but like you said alex needs 1 punch and the fact that his leg was the way it is allowed alex to get it and izzy not to circle well you could see it.. anyways I have the utmost respect for alex he's a great fighter but I see izzy graceful in defeat tbh he said the stoppage was fair he said pereira beat him and gave alex his props

It sucks man i hoped he wouldve beat pereira. But honestly ,and ive held a huge opinion against people who use the term, peireira is a weight bully whos izzys raw skill almost pulled a win against a man who walks around at i believe 238? Should not be fighting at 185. And izzy almost got the win. Dude is hugely talented insanely respectable and so well spoken id say he comes off as one of the more intelligent individuals in the ufc. Idc if he has the strap or not im tuning in for the individual. And honestly i think hell pull the win next time with an adjusted game plan.

TBH izzy ain't bothered because he knows alex didn't beat him fairly, you 20lbs over your opponent that is damn near cheating if izzy 210 and alex 225+ on fight night nothing fair about that and worst thing is izzy almost beat him being that much smaller has to be a confidence booster if anything lool I wouldn't sweat losing a unfair fight either no one beating izzy fairly jan was 20lbs bigger too, so izzy basically undefeated since no one has beat him under fair circumstances
