@@matttate920 are you saying that only 16% of the black male population are fathers?? If so you are completely wrong. Idk why people keep getting that pew study wrong but it was a study showing how many solo parents there are, not about who’s having kids with who. 89% of blk mothers are parenting solo. Meaning the father is no where to be found. Meanwhile, 11% of blk fathers parent solo because those mothers are not around. What that study actually tells you is a significant amount of men that have children with bw (majority of which are blk) are either deceased, in jail, or abandoned the family. Btw, overall the solo parent rate for ALL women regardless of race is 80% in the U.S. yall clearly cannot read data & enjoy bringing bw down for whatever reason. Also that 50% childless is WRONG. It’s only for bm ages 18-24.

It’s so satisfying to know how high the divorce rate and single mother rates are among white and Latina women who date BM. Numbers don’t lie. It’s clear who the problem is and it’s NOT black women. “Night Riders” was also a term used by the KKK so the fact that they’re using it for BW tells us everything they need to know. Neither one of those men are attractive or kind so allow BW to take a collective sigh of relief they don’t want BW. It’s very odd because they’re always talking about BW every other show.

Interracial children suffer the most especially if one of their parents don't find it necessary to educate their child on the ways of the world and their culture. Black parent's need to feel this is important because the American school system does a lousy job teaching our children their history and they basically brush over a few key figures and neglect to talk about the many others who have contributed to the history of this world and this country. I didn't really learn the history of my people until I went to college and minored in African Studies. One of the first things I learned was to question where the history we are being taught is coming from. Is that person even black. It's a major factor to be critical of anything concerning black history that comes from non black people and it's even more important to read black history that comes from an Afrocentric point of view. The white beauty standards being celebrated really hits home. It's a universal thing. As an arab girl, I've always been bashed and rejected by the men of my community simply for not being (or looking) white. We'd constantly hear how white women are much better than us and how they'd settle for any woman as long as she fits the white beauty standards. They'd even make memes comparing the two communities to prove that one is much better and refined than the other one. They'll go out of their way to make you feel bad for not being the type they like. Like you shouldn't exist cause I don't find you attractive. Like why are you so bothered? If you don't like them just move on... Why this vengeance to shit on people who did nothing to you 🤣

A long time ago a group of black co-workers invited me to dinner with their extended friends, a mix of men and women, just starting their professional careers. Because I'm hispanic I think they were comfortable being themselves. At some point they talked about a black guy who wasn't there and was starting to date a pudgy white girl. They all laughed and one of the girls said something I'll never forget - "He probably thinking 'I finally made it!'". Later that girl explained to me that there are black men that see white women as status symbols. Like if you have money, and an expensive car, and designer stuff, and a white woman, you da man. I'm not saying that this is what these guys are feeling but I think there's an element of truth somewhere in there.

hit the nail on the head when yall were talking about standards. White girls are and have been the standard for the longest time so women of color have to do a lot more to be even seen on the same level as an average "basic" white girl. that's why as Akaash said, many people would take an average white girl over a gorgeous woc. Their whiteness, by default, adds 100 pts to their worth, regardless of what the look like. they ARE the standard, so they don't have to try and match up to it like other women.

if white women were the standard then they wouldn't Tan. If they were the standard then they wouldn't inject anything into their lips. Who do you think they are trying to mimmick? When Bo Derek was in the movie "10", everyone thought she was soooo beautiful. Here was a thin white women running along the beach, with her blonde hair braided and in beads. Who do you think, again she is trying to mimmick. Almost all cultures have an issue with skin tone. Asian have an issue, The Spanish also have issues with color and it comes from Colonialism. Again if white women were the standard they wouldn't do anything to their looks, but that is not the case. Don't Fall for the Banana in the Tail Pipe...think deeper.

@@josephjackson8631 yeah, in recent years it's become a trend for white women to co-opt certain features from other races just enough to appear exotic and distinct, but they're still.... white... Also, it's a common issue that the features that you mentioned such as big lips, darker skin etc. are seen as undesirable when they're in women of colour, but applauded when copied by white women. You contradicted yourself when you said "almost all cultures have an issue with skin tone... it comes from colonialism" yeah I agree, beauty standards set by colonialism are still rampant in many cultures today but dude... who do you think the colonizers were? lmaoo Beauty standards have become slightly broader when compared to past decades due to more inclusivity especially in the media (thus explaining "trends" like bigger lips, darker tan, etc. that many white women partake in), but in general whiteness still holds a lot of weight when it comes to judging one's desirability in society. I do want to clarify that I'm not trying to say that white women don't feel pressure from the beauty standards set by society. I'm just saying that even if they might not look like the societal "ideal", by being white, they do automatically fit into a large part of that standard.

  • @josephjackson8631

@@angelbbyblue False, you're missing the point. Immatation is the most sincere form of flattery. Why would you take on feature from another race if you are the standard. Also this just didn't start happening. How long have Tanning beds been around? A pretty long time. The truth is there is beauty in all races, all skin tones, thats the truth. The lie is when Hollywood cast a white women to play Cleopatra and people applaud it rather than being outraged, so people think a lie is the standard for beauty. Just because White society is empowered (they control Hollwood and Most media outlet) people believe what they see, but again I look deeper. If they were the standard they wouldn't do any and everything to covet the features found in the Black women. If you look thru history there are examples that show the insecurity of white women. Did you know in slavery times, in Louisiana what is now New Orleans the Malado women ( black women mixed with black and something else) had to cover their hair because it was said to be so beautiful that it attracted too much attention from white men. So they passed a law that said all black women had to cover their hair in public. Again, white is not the standard of beauty, Beauty is the standard of beauty and it comes in all different ethnicities and shades. 2 thinks can be True, Fresh and Fit are spewing racist insults and just because Fresh is Black does not mean he can't be racist. I get it. U think white women are more attractive to you...then say that and leave it at that. Stop with the Racist insults.

@MeS. I actually agree with you there. You articulated it better then I could, the part about white women being put on a pedestal. I also agree that ww or non black woc can't be the yardstick for measuring black women - but think of black women growing up in predominantly white areas with little to no positive representation of themselves around them - it's not unusual to see them comparing themselves to white standards of beauty since that's all that they see being desired.

Patrice O’ Neal did this bit on a podcast about being with a black girl vs white and he had this cooking metaphor that actually made sense saying that the black girl’s love runs so deep so it’s like the food takes longer to cook and it’s delicious as suppose to western girls is like a comparison to TV dinners and it only takes 2 mins in the microwave. I agree in some levels that being Asian and dating within your tribe promotes longevity so F&F won’t admit that they’re just in it for a casual encounter but society promotes monogamy so there’s definitely a backlash on belief systems and preference which is different for everybody.

Personally, having read and studied Psychology for a few years now, I think this starts in childhood. Here's something interesting that people rarely talk about: the black community has it's own social hierarchy. In our culture, the gangstas and the men with that hood "edge" are on top. Especially in grade school/adolescents. So the well-spoken and better behaved black boys are not only seen as low value, but they're often times the target of joking and teasing. In their formative years, black girls deem these boys as invalids for dating. So as a reaction, these young black boys that are on the fringes of black culture will respond in kind... they say "I'm an invalid? I'm a joke?... No! YOU'RE INVALID! YOU'RE A JOKE". It's not a coincidence that we usually hear this opinion from the black men that are more eccentric than the one's glorified in rap music and depicted in black demographic targeted media. I believe it's return fire. The shunned now doing the shunning. The root cause is the fact that from a very young age we disenfranchise our own (i.e he's well-spoken and reads, which means he's white so he's not one of us) which causes them to disown us back once they're adults (i.e these girls are hoodrats who are loud and ghetto, **** the lot of them). I could write more, but I'll finish with this. All in all, this is just a symptom of a bigger problem. The black community has been at odds with itself for a long time and this is just the newest incident of an old, long-standing problem.

Even Andrew stated how bizzare it is to see black men acting like that and he’s not even black bro. What would make someone unattracted to their own kind? I think it’s very obvious that this is a direct result of the history that black ppl have had in America as well as the media’s role in pumping out anti black stereotypes. This would also explain why this way of thinking is prevalent more in the black community vs other minority communities who tend to prefer their own more often. Also What aakash said about minorities uplifting white women is true , as the dominant culture people tend to put them on a pedestal for being white. The problem is they are combining preferences of 2 completely different criteria and treating them as inseparable. 1.) They don't date black girls (Race preference) 2.) They don't date ghetto and low class girls (Class/culture preference) To start with Preference 1, to each their own but this isn't a preference so much as something they're not interested in women of a certain skin color. They could have just said what they preferred instead of saying what they didn't like as if it were something they detested. As far as Preference 2, what they don't want to date are low class, ghetto, poorly educated, low value women who have unrealistic views of the world. HERE'S THE PROBLEM. 1 is a preference of race whereas 2 is a preference of class and culture. The problem is that they make those inseparable. They combine both criteria to give the message "We don't date black women because they are low class and ghetto". This is what's fucked up. There are black girls who aren't ghetto at all. But when you tag on that you don't date black girls because they are generally this caliber of woman, it's fucked.
