I am so thankful for your in depth explanations. I have a teacher, but it helps to be reminded of the little details during the week until the next lesson. I have watched most of your videos for beginners. I have only had lessons for a year, and I am 73, very motivated to achieve a beautiful sound.

Dear MsBushkova I watched this video several times and I must say the finger patterns are a new way of practising the Schradieck exercises. It is fun try different patterns on different strings and see which ones make a melody. If you vary the patterns, the rhythms, the strings, and the Schradieck exercises, it gives a whole new approach to practising finger placements.

My teacher gave me Sevcik and I get bored or blurry eyed very quickly. Maybe I can do a few of these to break it up a little. :-)

Can I ask, ideally, how long time a day would you suggest to work on these exercises?

Es dependiendo de cada quien, regularmente es recomendable de 10 minutos a 15 minutos para tener una óptima concentración y tener buenos resultados saludos.

It is best to practice for a goal, not for time. I would not play these types of exercises more than 20-30 min. a day, and not all in one session.
