School of Rock - Teacher's Pet - Lyrics in sync to video

Музыка

I am not the owner of the song or movie but I added lyrics to it.
This song is from the movie School of Rock.
Dewey Finn (Jack Black) - One of the best artist, actors in the world. He is the lead singer.
Zack Mooneyham (Joey Gaydos Jr.) - The talented but shy lead guitarist of the School of Rock. His overbearing father has a large and domineering influence on him. Dewey's nickname for him is "Zack-Attack"
Summer Hathaway (Miranda Cosgrove) - The class factotum, Summer is determined to please and succeed, even if it means using somewhat unethical means. Dewey's nickname for her is "Tinker Bell"
Freddy Jones (Kevin Clark) - The punk rock, delinquent drummer of the School of Rock. He likes to burn stuff for a pastime. Dewey's nickname for him is "Spazzy McGee"
Katie (Rebecca Brown) - Originally a cellist, Katie takes up the bass guitar. She's portrayed as a quiet girl, but eagerly takes interest in rock music. In the commentary, it is revealed during the credits she was supposed to have a solo, but it was cut out. Dewey's nickname for her is "Posh Spice"
Lawrence (Robert Tsai) - A quiet, awkward "boffin" who becomes the keyboardist for the band. Dewey's nickname for him is "Mr Cool"
Tomika (Maryam Hassan) -- An insecure girl who is originally a roadie nicknamed "Turkey Sub" but after discovering her amazing voice, is nicknamed "Songbird" and sings back up.
Marta (Caitlin Hale) - Marta is another back-up singer, seemingly more lively than other classmates, showing off her voice with "Tomorrow" from the musical Annie. Dewey's nickname for her is "Blondie"
Alicia (Aleisha Allen) - Alicia volunteers her singing voice to become a back-up singer, "auditioning" with Amazing Grace. Dewey's nickname for her is "Brace Face"
Billy (Brian Falduto)- Originally assigned security, the effeminate Billy requests he be band stylist instead. Dewey's nickname for him is "Fancy Pants"
Gordon (Zachary Infante) - Gordon is a roadie and is noted for his exceptional computer skills. He tends to get stressed easily when his plans don't work out, but Dewey inspires confidence in him. Nicknamed "Roadrunner"
Marco (James Hosey) - Also a roadie with Gordon. Nicknamed "Carrot Top"

I think there's a really good moral as to why Dewey chose to play Teacher's Pet over Legend of The Rent. Dewey wrote Legend of The Rent as a way to take out his anger towards the problems that had occurred recently in his life (being kicked out of his band and being forced to "give in to the man" by paying rent), but then he heard Zack's song and was amazed that such a young kid had written some great and powerful lyrics, so he put his own problems aside and decided to move forward with Zack's song because he knew that Zack's song was more fitting for the movement that they had all created together as a band (sticking it to the man), and it was also a great metaphor for Dewey letting go of his drunken, wannabe past and moving forward to a new, brighter era in his life with his new band School of Rock! So, the moral of the story is basically: putting your own problems aside and coming together as one by confiding in and understanding one another, is the key to putting on one great rock show that can change the world! It's for that reason that I'll always like Teacher's Pet better than Legend of The Rent (although Legend of The Rent is great too). If they'd played Legend of The Rent at Battle of The Bands it just wouldn't have been as impactful as Teacher's Pet.

I find the hole stage diving concept kinda funny cause if a big band did that, they wouldn't surf, they would be pulled in and come out with their clothes in shreds.

i understand the academics of learning for a career and i know this was a movie, but when you son or daughter has a God Given Talent either by playing a guitar or any instrument or a voice as we have seen on IDOL or the Voice....and they want to go in that area....get behind them and push them........some of the kids i have seen who sing or play something is Mindblowing........music is a career mom and dads.....!!!
