Absolutely UNBELIEVABLE! Thank you so much to this school for making that sort of investment to train people on a bit of a dying art. I'm totally blown away by those teaching facilities!

I learned to become a machinist by joining the United States Navy. The Navy’s machinist is “Machinery Repairman” the best decision I made in my life. Not only did travel the world and serve my country. Companies appreciate veterans. Worked as a nuclear maintenance machinist for 37 1/2 years straight without one day not employed unit I retired.

Wow, we have nothing like this huge school engineering shop in Australia. This is like the 1960's tech school, but a heck of a lot more modern, and well just friggin amazing, great to see.

That's what I call REAL INTELIGENCE! I teach a small design and manufacturing HS program in Idaho. There are 2 things I constantly tell my students. #1- Every class I took in HS later paid off in life after highs school. #2 AI will never take replace the true hands on trades.

Looks like enough machines to have a class of 100 students. Truly impressive, we need facilities like this in every state and the teaching staff to support it.

I’d be like a kid in a candy store! I’ve worked as a machinist for over 50 years since the 60s and have my own shop developing and producing products. I never wanted to be a machinist but I’m so grateful for that opportunity. It’s not just a job learned in prison anymore.

VERY impressive. I wish I had found this school 60 years ago and I would have been more than a hobby machinist.

Began college right when AutoCAD 11 w/AME was introduced purchased for $200 per student. Having a PC at home, the learning possibilities were endless....NEVER had a prob landing a career having mastered this base skill set. I wonder how many young-uns these days can be pry'd away from mommie and their PS2 games? Then the challenge "Alien tech" of reading a tape measure and following simple instructions.

I had a similar school in the 70's a bit smaller and only 1 paper tape cnc mill. In Montreal. I loved it and it gave me a great career.

Great to know the younger generation have options like this to learn the skills. Wish we had similar investment in education in Australia, most of the manufacturing has been shipped overseas.
