how to mill perfect chamfers

how to mill perfect chamfers
In this video I will demonstrate two different methods of how to accurately chamfers a block
In other words how to put the perfect 45 accurately too size on our blocks
the first method uses a seated parallel for repeatability the second method uses the angle of a cutter both methods are acceptable and accurate

If you look for: Big chamfer - big tool - big part - small cycle time - short video. There is an unusual method using the inside of the teeth. There is also one for making a countersink gauge to set chamfer depths.

thank you for the nice comment. It is much appreciated. It helps put fuel in the tank and the current video that I’m working on right now is creating a universal magnetic parallel. I’m in the voiceover stages. Thank you for taking the time to comment. It is much appreciated. Ray

Lock it down-we don't really need it. Then I guess you're okay with 0.374.5, then 0.374, then 0.373.5, then 0.372.5, and then 0.372. LOL.

I believe it was locked down. It’s the machine I was on. I don’t know if I showed locking the table or not.
