I was in my 19s, working at the bar in a low-grade hotel lobby. Sometimes I was serving clients, while the waitress was "serving" my married boss in the kitchen. That place used to turn into a club at some late hours and I was also responsible for the music that plays. In the early mornings where everyone has left, I was cleaning the bar, listening to new songs, so I could make a playlist for the next day. At that time, the Internet was very limited and new and I waited to download a song for days. It was 4 o'clock in the morning, I was brushing the green carpet outside, imitating grass. This song started right after being downloaded for days and I froze with the brush in my hands... I can't describe my feelings at that time while listening to this tune, but I felt so much inspired, that soon after I left that place and went to the capital, where my real life began. The song was on replay for a long time in my ears, and here I come 18 years later and listen to it again. I'm getting goosebumps...

I was in highschool when I first heard this song. It was playing on the radio and I was on the roof of my parents house. It was a nice breezy summer night and I had my headphones on, listening to it and looking at the stars. My parents live in a kind of an isolated village with lots of hills and forests (it's beautiful) but in that moment I decided I want to leave this place and go as far away as possible and I did right after highschool. That's when another chapter of my life started. In that moment I felt so inspired and it felt like a goodbye song, I said goodbye to that place. I still visit them but very rarely. As a musician I think that if your music inspires people so much, you did a good job. Thank you Schiller, now everytime when I hear this song I freeze and I get teleported back to that exact moment in my life.

Eh i have to disagree, i think technology is not a problem.. The world had technology in the 80's, 90's and early 2000's but most of people were happy. We had videogames, phones, internet, TV, movies, radio, walkman, discman etc. but that was never the problem. Technology is very cool, useful and fun. It's the social media that caused irreversible damage to the world and it's continuously destroying our civilization. But social media is not a technology advancement, it's just a stupid simple idea that brings chaos. Social media could've existed before 2000's but people didn't need it. There was Myspace and blog sites but still people weren't interested as much. But now social media shapes our society in a way that people idolize and follow influencers, and now they all copy that person. Millions of people will follow 1 influencer and behave like them, talk like them, look like them.. And now we have bunch of copy/paste people like robots. Nobody is their true self anymore, everyone is a product of influence. People used to be alternative, unique and original, they came up with their own style and ideas. But now they just want to fit in and be like the others. And the worst part is, all of these influencers are shitty and useless people, so now we have a whole society full of useless and shitty people. And it's all about those likes and thumbs up.. Nobody speaks honestly from the heart anymore, everyone only says the things that will bring them most likes. People's egos are way out of control.. When i was a kid we idolized superstars like actors, singers, athletes etc. and those were people who deserved to be superstars, they had talent and skills and they had to earn their spot to be famous and popular. We had proper TV companies and publishers who would choose what type of product would be release into the entertainment business. And there was a criteria, it had to be a good product (good movie, good song, good videogame etc.) it had to be fun, interesting, educational etc.. But now we don't have that anymore, and people shove their shitty products into the mainstream entertainment business, polluting the market with bullshit stuff. That's why now we have so many bad movies, bad musicians and bad videogames, because nobody controls the quality anymore, it's a free for all.. And now people idolize random average useless people who are not doing anything important, they just post pictures and vlogs and write their opinions for likes, they are being goofy on camera and that's it.. For example, why are there popular people like Jake Paul, Logan Paul, KSI, Ricegum, Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, Jenna Marbles etc.. they really don't do anything, they are just random average people without any talent or skills, and they influence others to be the same. Back in my day there was only 1 useless famous person and that was Paris Hilton. But nowdays, almost every celebrity has the same value like Paris Hilton.. If only there was no social media we would enjoy the world as it should be, and the technology would only be useful and fun.

@@twentytwo138 Exactly. You covered them all very well. But i don't think social media is the main cause of the society downfall. It's just the nail in the coffin. Music and movies went really downhill before the takeover of social media. Trance, rock, hip-hop, r&b (just to name a few) went really trashy since 2010's and now are almost gone, especially trance and rock music. It seems that the artists lost over night their talent or their love and taste for quality music/movies. What caused the decline of society it bothers me the most. Something affected the society years before social media. Could be too much freedom? Too much politics? The desire to get rich and famous quick? Too much manipulation? We should have evolved, not become imbeciles like in the movie Idiocracy. We live in very sad times.

Помню как рыл просторы интернета неверно вбивая разобранные слова ибо на тот момент мои познания в английском были отрицательными :). Jaka tajemnice? Skala molowa w tonacji C-moll sie klania. Twoj mozg odczytuje dzwieki pochodzace z tej skali jako melancholijne, tajemnicze, powazne itd. Tak dziala muzyka zachodnia. Sa dwie skale, jedna durowa, druga molowa. Muzyka ze skal durowych wydaje sie weselsza a ta z molowych smutniejsza dla naszego mozgu i nie ma tu zadnej tajemniczej magii. Muzyka ma swoje zasady jak kazda inna dziedzina. Czysta nauka.

@@dietmar___ Sam kiedys myslalem ze muzyka to ''magia'' i ze trzeba byc nie wiadomo jakim geniuszem zeby ja tworzyc. Ale nie trzeba nim byc wazna jest kreatywnosc i znajomosc zasad jaka muzyka posiada ale to tez oczywiscie nie sprawi ze zacznie sie tworzyc same arcydziela. Inaczej sie patrzy na muzyke kiedy sam zaczynasz w ten temat wchodzic i zajmowac sie produkcja muzyczna. Ta ''magia'' muzyki troche zanika kiedy klawiatura muzyczna staje sie twoim narzedziem pracy razem innymi narzedziami ktore ulatwiaja miksowanie i mastering. Wiele swietnych piosenek nie bierze sie tylko z glowy i przyciskajac klawiature w magiczny sposob tworzy sie swietne melodie. To dziala najczesciej inaczej. Wybierasz skale, tworzysz progresje akordow i szukasz tego czego chesz. @@hinsen a muzyka nie jest magią samą w sobie? sam dzwięk ciszy jest magiczny, a co do twojej wypowiedzi znam ,,jakąś tam teorie muzyki'' wypowiedziałem to ogólnie, sama muzyka w sobie ok teorie itp. ale to musi wyjść z duszy człowieka żeby tak piękną aranżacje stworzyć wysłuchaj albumu Roberta Milesa Dreamland, teoria to jedno a drugie to serca, dusza i co nie wypowiedzą po prostu słowa.

I used to love this song when I was a teenager and it just came to me out of nowhere and it took me a while but in the end I found it.

Moim zdaniem te utwory najmocniej oddziałują na osoby empatyczne, wrażliwe, patrzące emocjonalnie na świat. Są głębokie, przepiękne bo wyrażają w sobie dużo myśli, odczuć oraz wspomnień. Jeszcze słuchając je w klimatycznym miejscu, ja np lubię spacerując w lesie o zmierzchu. Magic track, wonderfull and mystery.

Odsłuchana w odpowiedniej chwili i nastroju potrafi "przenieść" nas gdzieś daleko w świat wspomnień, marzeń, uspokoić umysł tak szarpany codziennością. A empatia dokładnie taka jest - raz pomaga, kiedy indziej przeszkadza.

As a native german born ´87, the voice of Heppner was kinda always around. He was never that much of a big celeb, but his voice kept popping up. Gonna see him live next month. Uniquest male voice i know.

2003 to 2021 is whom do you feel? Yourself? This song is not as I believe to joke about as we are judged by every word as on earth by man and as in Heaven by not man.
