Scheduling Strength Training with Rowing: When and Why?

This is an excerpt from my presentation at the 2020 USRowing Convention. Learn how to schedule strength training to complement rowing training at the seasonal, weekly, and daily levels. This is important to maximize performance improvement from training and reduce risk of injury from fatigue spillover between modes of training.

    Do you write strength sessions for rowers? My coach writes the erg and water sessions but I don't really have a weights schedule
