Omg...this song is AMAZING!! The jazzy feel, a little bit of R&B, his smooth falsetto voice, the powerful lyrics, the layering of sounds...truly a masterpiece! Alejandro is a musical genius, able to seamlessly blend various genres within each song. He has such a vast knowledge of music and he's certainly proven that in all of his songs he creates. And those arpeggios...takes my breath away every time.

Lots of people are musicians but until you eat, breathe and shit musical notes like he does, you are just another musician, which is ok. I'm a 47-year old teacher sitting in my car sobbing, waiting for my kids to finish their dance lessons. And I'm crying because of your music and lyrics and haunting way you sing this. Like how am I supposed to walk into the studio with mascara streams down my cheeks and big drips of tears on my shirt? "What's wrong, Christine?" Uh, I have no idea. Your songs are like detox. Sir Alejandro, I just want you to know that me and my wife have very different musical backgrounds and tastes and normally it is hard for us to tolerate each others tastes. She grew up playing classical piano and now she is into the REAL country singers (non-pop country)as well as guys like Josh Groban etc. I grew up spending many hours in the back seat of my parents van driving every weekend with them playing everything from Dylan, Joni Mitchell, CSN, Neil Young, Arlo Guthrie, Janis, and later Fleetwood Mac, Dire Straights, Springsteen, Tom Petty etc. Eventually I clung onto all of their sounds and added the early-mid 90's to my list of likes from R.E.M., Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Radiohead, and many others as well as the english bands like the Smiths, Morrissey solo, James and many others as well as many more Rock legends and Reggae too. Your music has given us both a COMMON admiration for you, your voice, your songwriting, your guitar work, your "classical piano" style and your humble demeanor. After listening to your first AI audition I told her you sounded like combined Seal/Dave Mathews on vocals, David Gilmour on guitar and Bach on the piano. We are both big fans of you and your story and have found some common musical ground to enjoy. So thanks. BTW, after your Queen song, I told my wife "He just took Queen and made it NIN" before Katy ever called you Trent...

Wishing you the best while you try to quit smoking. Let Alejandro’s music take you to that mystical place where cigarettes are not needed. I know a lot of people say they smoke to relieve stress. If they listened to AA’s music that would relieve their stress. I was never a smoker, but my parents were and I was sick all the time as a baby. At that time, people smoked everywhere. My parents quit many years ago and they have NEVER regretted it. You will never regret quitting; you will only regret NOT quitting. 😉😁
