Chris Jones in the choice between feeling hot and being potentially eaten by a lion, I think the choice is clear. Also, wasn't there something designed to keep cars cool inside while it's hot outside? Oh yeah, airconditioning.

+The Guardian Yeah, but then you wouldn't get to feel those authentic Serengeti biting flies. It's funny that I've spent literally thousands of hours driving around the highways of western Canada and I've only seen a few black bears, moose, elk, deer, coyotes, no grizzlies, no wolves, and no cougars, and I've never met anybody who's seen a wolverine. And I've been out on totally deserted highways at three am. But in Africa, the guy's afraid to stick one toe outside the car for fear of being literally eaten by a huge man-eating lion. Not quite the same...

Chris Jones I see your point. However, we're talking about this specific video where there's a lion right outside the car. In your example, it would be like you keeping the door open with a bear circling your car.

+The Guardian Did you catch the subtext? That Indian guy is going to shoot that lion very soon. He said if you went into that bush tonight you'd be "dead meat". I'm pretty sure it's going to get a bullet in the head in the near future. The thing certainly looked dangerous enough. You can't just let a thing like that hang around until he kills somebody else... A South African guy I used to know said that lions know if you're a desperate refugee escaping a war and they take that as an invitation to eat you. Maybe they sense that nobody's going to come looking for you if you don't come home...

Certain animals get urges. Sometimes its due to dental problems, sometimes its due to lack of food sources and sometimes its just for the thrill. Take the TSavo lions for example. They said that they had dental problems and said that they went after easier prey. But they also found pieces of other animals in the teeth. They still think they could have done it for fun but also food.

They have no remorse to the cruelty they cowardly inflicted by a gunshot, destroying a life who has no idea why the intruder came and why was it shot dead.

The Lion was being aggressive there because they were way to close and he was defending his female, also they looked at him directly in the eyes which is a sign that lions use when they want to challenge each other, the longer they stared at him the more aggravated he got. You have to stay at a respectful distance and give them space to move and feel safe in your presence. I have worked with wildlife in South Africa and that ranger parked right next to him when he could see that he was with a female and then just starred at him, You never ever do that!! That lion wasn't trying to attack him, he was warning them to stay away from him and his female, if he wanted to attack them he would already have been in the car with them.

If there was no tourist industry and no tourist dollars they probably would have killed off all the animals years ago... Here we go with people on a KZread comment section acting like they are better experts then the guys in the video. You're supposed to stare at an aggressive animal as a tactic. Because it's psychology proven that when one animal stares at another, the animal that is being starred at thinks the other animal has some sort of advantage up his sleeve. In this case, the lion charges for a second, the man stares and the lion backs off a little bit unsure. If an animal is charging at you, stand your ground and stare right at them.

Listen i am from Bangladesh and we have a mangrove forest called the Sundarbans and tiges live there....when the tigers get old or injured they start crossing rivers and miles of jungle and to the nearby villages to kill human....because they are easy targets...they will come at night...and tigers are stalkers... You wont even know about the tiger untill it breath on your necks...when a tiger kills human for the first time it becomes a habit...it stops killing other animals and only hunts human....i live in the capital living a first world life but those who are in the rural poor villages in here or in Africa has to kill the beast to protect themselves...i hate poachers but everyone has right to protect themselves...easy enough for me to say when i need my father to kill a spider from my room...and they have to live in fear of tigers...cant even imagine the horror when you cant even go out after dark in fear of tigera

@@RHasan-yy1fb These idiots can't understand what you are trying to tell them, and they don't want to understand it. In their minds, humans are always at fault for everything, animals are always victims, and humans deserve to be killed by them. Of course most of these people have zero actual experience with animals of any type, but they still feel qualified to make judgements. I feel for the poor people who live in fear of these kinds of attacks every day. Living where I do in relative safety, I can't imagine what that must be like.

100 people???? Lions don't hunt humans by default. If Lions killed 100 people there, they would have deliberately hunted the Lions and wiped out the entire Lion population. The only reason they're here is because of reports of man eating lions who grow a taste for hunting people after running into refugees who try to cross into the country illegally then encounter lions in the jungle. After killing one person, they think... Easy prey... I'll do it again. And then they start actively hunting people. If people didn't go into the jungle and make close contact with the lions, the lions usually would not bother them at all.
