Thanks man. It’s weird to find myself here commenting on what’s fucked about me like everyone else, but I have been plagued by “if I can’t sleep I’ll be dysfunctional tomorrow, and if I keep doing this it will ruin my life”. The issue is that this thought is TRUE. But it’s entirely self-fulfilling. How do I disengage from a true, catastrophizing thought?

As I found your videos/channel I just got done this very morning about two hours ago having an adrenaline dump- a bigger one that I haven’t had in quite awhile (I’m under a lot a lot of stress and issues I haven’t dealt with yet that I know I need to and I’m also a caretaker along with my dad for my mom who has dementia and several other serious cardiac issues ) and I stumbled across your channel as I was in the recovery/resting phase distracting my mind by being on my phone on KZread and just crying my eyes out.. I call it my emotional phase bc after every adrenaline dump I have, I always am so tired mentally and in what feels like my spirit and have brain fog but just these two videos of yours I have watched have helped me tremendously! I literally didn’t go to sleep until after day light last night and these thoughts hit me daily regardless if I experience an adrenaline dump and have to deal with that.. you are reassuring and very soothing bc literally everything you say I have just experienced this morning, and for the last almost 20 years with my anxiety/panic issues.. I’m 41 and feel so stupid and embarrassed for having to call my father to be beside me (worth mentioning he also has anxiety/mental issues as well as his mother, sister and brother (my gma and aunt and uncle ) so now I feel so bad because this was the first bad one he witnessed.. he asked me what it felt like bc his anxiety manifests itself more inward and he doesn’t have these Praise God and I pray he never does, but I literally explained it using your very word for word…. So thank you for your videos.. thank you for taking time and caring for us out here .. thank you for caring Enuff about others..❤ and very proud of you for all your hard work .. I’m excited to reword phases of these occurrences and work on how I can work in healing myself.

@@FromPanictoParis I’m sorry friend, it makes me very happy to know you overcame it. Unfortunately I’m still battling hard from it. I’m 40 now and I’ve had this since my early 20s. It comes in waves, it goes away for awhile, then comes back harder. Right now it’s the horrible intrusive thoughts, lot’s of fear, overwhelming dizziness and fatigued. Your videos have truly helped so much, I listen to them daily. I appreciate you so much, my family and friends have been a huge support for me too. I wish nobody would have to go through this nightmare, I pray everyone going through this quick recovery, and thank you so much once again for being the light in the tunnel for a lot of us brother.

Yes, when you have an anxiety disorder you always want to make fell you save. When I was experiencing anxiety for about more than 6 months my biggest fear were stroke, because I felt face tingling a few times. I thought I will develop psychosis because my thoughts were so racing and I had the fear of starting hearing voices and so on.. I am doing well at the moment. Still have anxiety from time to time but I am able to recognise it and just make a calmness teas. I wish good to everyone and remember that we are stronger than you think! ❤️
