Yes Scarborough but south cliff where they filmed the tv series The Royal 60s hospital series spin off from heartbeat which is a bunch of flats I went in 2004 for the first time & again in 2021 with my dog Roxy we had a great time

The last time I visited Scarborough was in 1972; It was a Whit weekend, and I was down for four days with a friend from work, We had a brilliant time just sight seeing and walking.

Fabulous we were at Scarborough bringing in the new year 2022. We went to find where the building was that used in the series of the Royal. That was a hard walk to find. We love scarborough going again in August. 🙂

I always enjoy your videos of Scarborough. You were really lucky with the weather, a beautiful sunny day. I think it's nice to see it during different parts of the year.

Fantastic film, fabulous quality, stunning location. Just love Scarborough, visit at least once every year. Been going since 1972. Looks better every time you see it.

I love Scarborough I live here and probably will never leave

As a child with my family we went to Scarborough many times. We used to stay with a lady whose house was close to "the long Greece steps" returning there recently with my husband, we found that place, its now a car park.

Just seen the 'surprise' at the end :) - Iove it! Some really lovely shots and pans over southbay! I need to send my drone up more round the coast there.. i've yet to master proper video editing - maybe one day ill bump into you (not literally) and we can have a natter some time :)

Ahhhhh...That was a tonic. Loved the drone footage too and at the risk of repeating myself, I love Scarborough! 😍🥰

Superb video of such a beautiful place. Scarborough holds a very special place in my heart. Can't wait for my next holiday.

So many memories come flooding back watching your Scarborough videos. We made it a habit of going every year for 6 days till the kids got older, then we started going abroad.

It looks like a beautiful summer’s day!!

Going to Scarborough in May, your video gave us a brilliant idea of what is there, and as usual excellent content.

I loved Scarbro; went for a week once, a place with a beautiful garden which was shown in their brochure. It was very hot; I took a book and went to sit in the garden, one of the owners said " oh you can't sit in the garden, it's private" I never went back.

Lovely surprise thank you. Glad to see the famous white trainers cane to no harm in Whitby. Oh did you collect the chairs in Harrogate?🤣

We were there in september, it's so relaxing. Would go more often but it's 5 and a half to 6 hour drive for us. Really loved just watching the sea and the sound of the waves there.Lovely video almoat as good as being there...

Five hours for me too. Normally go two/three times a year but haven't been for two years. Can't wait for things to hopefully return to normal. Won't hold my breath of course not sure they ever will. In my next life I'm coming back to as a Yorkshire man.

Yet another stunning presentation only surpassed by the outstanding finale. Scarborough never ceases to enthral whatever the weather, well at least to all sons of York. However, a glorious sunny gay only adds to this wonderful Yorkshire coastal town. Mind you I was thinking that you might have had a paddle in the bracing sea. Loved your Scarborough Video bringing back happy memories as always spent many holidays there as a child. Parents always rented one of those lovely chalets on the southside above the old swimming pool ( long gone). Still enjoy a trip there but haven't been for couple of years which made it more enjoyable to see your walk. Many Thanks!!

Love your seaside vids - I lived at scarborough for three years while at uni - and i head back each year as often as i can spending a good couple of months usually in the year just enjoying the atmosphere! As an idea, one of the places i love to go to is down by the lighthouse. I often sit down on the benches on the bit to the left of the lighthouse where the gun is. And this time of year theres a little footbridge, so you can go up the pier past the Regal Lady and Seagrown ships, up round the lighthouse - and loop back round by crossing the small footbridge near the gun - coming back down towards the Teapot - Just an idea for a possible future video? :) Hope your trainers dried out after Whitby the day before!

Regal lady I remember that boat well, it's the one with the bar down below deck isn't it? Bit of a task getting down those steps to the bar like when the boats in motion 😂

Conan Ingram me too went down for a pint one time when the sea was a bit choppy very gratefully accepted the barmans offer to carry my pint back up on deck. Would have been lucky to get back with a half pint if I had attempted it myself.

Went there withy parents for hoilday last year, great hoilday.

My hometown, the Bethel Mission on the seafront is where my parents married over 60 years ago, Ive covered all over Scarborough seafront and the Castle area as a kid, the toll at the beginning you use to pay when my mum was little to go around the Marine Drive, I just wish Scarborough Council hadnt ruined good childhood places by making them carparks etc as I would have loved my own kids to of had the adventures I had there.

Loved the walk! 🙌🤩 so relaxing to see beautiful Scarborough in winter, such a lovely sunny morning! I would also love to see a walk around the town as well 😊 would that be possible? Cheers!

Nice video,That without crowds shows how unloved and neglected some areas have become.The knocking down of the Futurist theatre without a proper plan of what to replace it with is a shame. I well remember walking for miles along the cliff tops which as you showed is no longer possible and how long before the Spa theatre is closed as it only seems to be attracting tribute acts from the adverts shown.The town looks at its best from the air though!

Live these walk videos of places I remember. Could we have one from Western Super Mare please?

I enjoyed the video very much . It is a few years since I was in Scarborough but intend visiting in early April for a few days. I can`t believe the futurist theatre is no longer there . A lot of changes over the years. lovely to see the spa area thriving and I think I spotted where the sea water swimming pool used to be😄

Janet, I am with you when it comes to the Futurist but I go back even further to the Floral Hall in the North Bay, near Peasholm Park and Northstead Manor Gardens. Scarborough council seems to be terminally intent on removing Scarborough's old world charm.

Just watched your video on Scarborough. Made it so much more relaxing and enjoyable hearing a little soft music in the background. !

Planned a solo holiday at the Grand Hotel then felt maybe I had made a big mistake. After watching your video I am excited to check it out and enjoy the hotel just as it is for it's all it's history.

Fabulous video so far, I'm still watching it, up to you filming the police box up to now, I love your videos, should have got yourself a cup of tea at beginning of the video from that tea place that was open 😀 I've sat and had a drink outside there many times myself in the past and hopefully I'll get to again 👍 fantastic video 😃 that pier snack bar and grill is where I used to get jacket potatoes from with butter and cheese, they were the best in Scarborough by a mile! That was long before it was known as the pier snack bar and grill though, looks like you can still get jacket potatoes there though, next time you're back in Scarborough it would be great if you bought one and let me know if they're still as good as they used to be, I'll even pay for it so you don't have to dig into your own money 👍

Thank you for this video. It is nice to see the town through the eyes of someone else. I have lived in Scarborough all my life and when I retired I took up Landscape photography, mainly of my home town of Scarborough and especially the spectacular sunrises. I even made a small living out of selling my prints etc. Scarborough is beautiful, especially out of season. Tomorrow morning at sunrise, I shall be on the beach as usual (my special place). If I'm lucky, I might even see the dolphins we have off the coast round here...Thanks again.

You are so lucky to live there. When I and friends talk over our usual fantasy about winning the lottery they all say they would buy a villa in Spain my choice would be a small cottage in Scarborough old town,if only.

WOW Neil,definitely your best Scarborough vid yet as far as I'm concerned 😎😁 and the ending was certainly worth it, I was getting a bit worried about those white trainers though 🙄 they're gonna need some TLC after this weekend 😄 We hope to be back in Scarborough again a bit later in the year,lovely place.Thanks for a very enjoyable hour.BTW watched this on my new big screen 4k ,just beautiful,and Knaresborough and Whitby .

I was there for about 2 hours back in May of 2016 so didn't have much time to look around. We were at the very top of that huge park area on the bank. Across the road were what looked had like big pale coloured private homes. There was what appeared to be a little dwelling under the tarmac there, across from those big homes. Can anyone tell me if it is still there, & the story/history of that little dwelling.... please 😊 Trish from Australia
