The King abdicated his thrown to marry her cos the royal constitution will not allow him to marry a 3 time divorcee...I guess that's where the similarities end cos her love for the King was questionable according to the historians but there was no doubt that King Edward was completely and utterly besotted with Wallis. I mean he abdicated his thrown for her!

This is what you call love when you sacrifice for the one true love of your life they are a super couple I think this is one reason why I kept watching this show because of these two actors Kerry and Tony.

I don't know how to feel, but I do know that Fitz just proved just how much he loves Olivia, that's the most unselfish thing he could have done, let her go, because he would rather be miserable than to see Liv unhappy 😣 my heart breaks for him but kudos to him for this most amazing gesture 👏👏

He's willing to stay in that freakshow of a marriage to cover up for Liv yet again when he'd rather have his own toenails pulled out with a pliars. Yes, he was willing to stay in that toxic marriage to Mellie the witch so that Olivia wouldn't feel the pressure of the World. He was willing to let her go, so she wouldn't have to deal with the press and the scrutiny of being his lady love. I'm so glad, as I knew she would, Olivia standing up for Fitz. She's scared, but she's tired of hiding the way she feels about Fitz. Olitiz will work it out and Liv will adjust and find a way to make it happen. Love always wins out in the end.

When I watched that scene it made me cry... And it made me love fitz even more all he want was what's best for liv but liv show did change the game in the end by saying yes to the press that she's the president mistress..!! Hope she doesn't do any harm to Fitz. He really hates her you can feel it through the TV. Once again she can't reach her goals unless Fitz is by her side and he doesn't want to be. It's kind of sad that she is not made stronger and just leave this man who doesn't want her at all. His bucket list is done. The man is trying to move on but Mellie is like not so fast. Maybe Fitz should just resign. Susan Ross seems to be a good VP, she can handle being President.

No, not "again". They have never owned up to the rumours before. This admission is the obvious reboot of the mistress storyline and rather hard to miss. Scandal is a Limited series, this or next season will be the last one, so this confession of Olivia is setting up the series finale. So far, the storytelling has been pretty good and back on track with the superior season 2. Fingers crossed writers keep it up.

+Valencia Olitz yes, she was unhappy without him but still scared to claim him. The thought of Mellie anywhere near him again spurred her decision, I think. We often don't think about how she actually feels about Mellie having control over the man she loves. She knows Fitz doesn't love Mellie but it must still hurt like hell that she gets to call the shots all the time!

He knows how it feels to be in a relationship where there is unhappiness all the time. Being with Mellie all those years putting up a front and appearances but behind doors being miserable yeah he's not gonna go through that with Olivia. If they are gonna be together they both need to be on the same page. Him saying he was gonna bring Mellie back is what triggered her to come back and live in her truth. The world will be surprised and judgemental but hey I rather be in a loving relationship with someone than a dysfunctional, dead loveless marriage with my spouse. This is crazy Olivia with Jake riding in the car and Fitz is with Mellie at the white house as if Olitz is together and the others are the side pieces.

I was screaming at the tv "Like Shonda not this crap again" because if she would have run like everyone was saying to her and Fitz she would have lost him for good. He loves her enough to let her go. Fitz just grew some for REAL he was not having it with anyone, plus he wasn't trying to hide or cover-up anything no more. His character is no longer a baby Cyrus and Liv just claimed her MAN. Mellie is the worst still on that one line to Liv "about opening and closing her legs". Man there is all sorts of affairs that you can carry on that doesn't involve intercourse and Mellie has had her share. Go ahead and align yourself with Cyrus to destroy Liv and see how that works. Fitz and Liv together will be a force and Mellie and Cyrus keeps forgetting that Fitz is on his "A" game when Liv is with him plus she just told the whole world that he is her man. Bye Mellie, Cyrus, Liz, and Jake for manipulating this entire episode including Abby. Come next episode from what I can see Fitz and Abby are going after some people.

Of course your man is gonna look elsewhere. I hope Mellie, Cyrus and Sallie get put in their place for the Daniel Douglas murder. What would happen to those three if the President decides to resign? Millie will never become president, Sallie wouldn't have anything to talk about and Cyrus would be back at home not taking care of that beautiful baby girl of his.

+flacagonzales Mellie's responses to Olivia, calling her a whore and not being able to keep her legs closed is Mellie's way of denying and being jealeous of fact they are soul mates. Fitz hates her and she knows it but she doesn't care. Did you see the look on Fitz's face in the scene after the voicemail (please someone stick a fork in my eye I so I can die). But do you think Mellie cares? If she really loved Fitz she would let him go and maybe start reading some bills since Mellie is now the a Senator.

Liv doesn't need Mellie but Mellie has always needed her. Every time there was a crisis on both campaign trails Mellie has always said to Liv "Do something he only listens to you", or "Fix this". If you look at it like this Mellie wants Liv there to keep Fitz in line with whatever deem necessary while she gets to be in the lime light and get all the perks without putting no work in. Mellie isn't in love with Fitz she is in LOVE with POWER. I don't know why people are all girl power with Mellie she is weak, stupid, and shameless.
