Fitz wanted to give everything up too but everyone including liv said no. Bcs of the presidency, optics, polls etc but he wanted to multiple times. Which is I dnt really argue for this relationship been an adultry even mellie knew her marriage was done b4 Olivia came into the pic but she was willing to keep everything going bcs of power. But I will not underestimate the amount of sacrifice mellie made to make its was alot.
