jevonk Me too! It just can't build up to have them end apart when the series ends. I just hope my poor little heart can take it if it does. Olitz *ONLY* couple on TV that have me all up in my feels when they come on. No other couple has that kind of chemistry and magic. And this from a die hard General Hospital fan back in the day when Luke and Laura and Sonny and Brenda were the hottest couple, Olitz got them beat!

I JUMPED OUT MY SEAT SO QUICK WHEN I SAW THAT RING!!!! I screamed and happy-cried for a good ten minutes after this episode went off... good LORD, Shonda, just kill me.

these two can emit so much in silence even when they are on the phone - emotions in silence run so deep. I feel absolutely nothing when I watch her and Jake...they make me want to fall asleep and we are still suffering him in Season 6 - oh when will the misery end?

@@ChefMireilleGKT That's because Jake is just an escape of what she really feels and that's the love of Fitz. She struggles with being in love with Fitz so much because of her childhood and because of what she was taught which was love is a weakness.

She's like I forgive you my love. You did it because you love me and can't live without me and I feel the same way about you. I love you too. Now he can sleep good cause you know he can't sleep when she is mad at him.

I'm a recovering Olitzer but this scene was sooooo cute. Well done Ms Rhimes.

I absolutely loved this episode. People are always discussing ratings. This show is still #1drama on Thursday nights & far from cancellation. I just can't. It's like watch the damn show or let it go. I liked the kidnapping arc because it laid a new foundation for Olitz I think. I mean he went to war for her. We needed that declaration of love from Fitz. Liv's reaction was a bit shocking to me initially. But we must remember Liv is a patriot through and through. That guilt she felt was too much for her with her fragile state of mind. During her captivity though, we learned she truly wants Vermont. I just want these two to be together already.

Yeah that's why I get both sides of it. Fitz he really had no other choice and her crazy ass devil ass daddy didn't want anything to do with saving her. What if Fitz let her die then what? Would he have Fitz killed? I get Olivia because innocent soldiers died for nothing because it didn't save her. It just bought her some time. Her saying she was his mistress makes me think was she expecting him to just let her die? He has made it clear over the past 4 seasons that she is much more than a mistress and that she is the love of his life so just letting her die wouldve proven differently and he wasn't having it. Plus he's already said his presidency means nothing to him compared to Olivia Pope.

Wow power couples. On the arow we have Oliver and Felicity= Olicity and on scandle we have Olivia and Fitz= Olitz. I love it.

Finally the Olitz reset button has been pushed. I still feel Shondaland (as in the past) pimped out Olitzers to hype this episode. The earlier ring scene felt a little flat for me. At least this lays the path for Camp David for the ultimate reunion.

Gretta Lancaster I don't know. Shonda loves to pimp Olitzers for hype and ratings...giving us crumbs to keep the fandom for deserting. Although the show's ratings are down for the 2nd week in a row. 9 mil to approx 8 mil. That's not shabby by any means but people have been upset about the storylines and not seeing Olitz.
