@@costalardvark7262 I thought they were like 19 or something? Random 19 year olds (especially since Eliza was supposedly the pastors daughter, so she probably felt pressured to do this) cant really be held to the same standards as professional broadway actors (who usually have years of training and the average age is 40). I don’t like Scamilton, but I can absolutely see that the actors (especially the younger ones) really seem to have tried. Did they do well? No. But that’s because they are 19 and weren’t given enough direction. Im no professional, but while Eliza’s voice is a bit pitchy and nasally, I think she was done really dirty by that mic and with a bit of actual coaching, she’d be a decent singer. 19 year olds are legally adults, but would you really think a college frat boy is as mature as a middle aged man? Of course not. “Full” mental maturity usually comes at about 25 years old, not 18.

My opinion on all the actors: Hamilton: Pretty good singing, good acting Burr: Good singing, but lacks confidence, good acting Angelica: Good, hits the notes well, but sings like she's the star of the show/her voice has too bright of a tone Eliza: Not that bad. Slightly tone-deaf, voice is too breathy at some points, but mostly got screwed over by the microphones. The parts where she sings more quietly are probably her best, but she has trouble with the more belt-y parts. IMO she has a nice voice, but can't control it well. Also good acting. Peggy: Okay singer, slightly tone deaf like Eliza, looks like she doesn't want to be there Laurens/Phillip: Can't remember how he was as Laurens, but he was great as Phillip (especially the acting when he's about to die) Lafayette/Jefferson: Okay singer, but has great energy/expression. One of my favorite parts of the whole show was when he got to the line "Southern mother fucking Democratic-Republicans!" but instead of saying the swear words, he paused and built up anticipation. In that moment, I could see in his expression that he was having fun with that pause. Mulligan: Can't remember how he was Madison: I forgor Washington: Pretty good acting, but he can't hit the notes. In almost every song he's in, you can hear his voice straining to reach the higher notes, and then he gives up and sings an octave lower. This part is not his fault, he just doesn't have the right range. On the other hand, his singing voice isn't that great either. I like what he was going for, but he can't pull it off. I don't think he has much singing experience. The King: Acting is ok, voice is meh. Forgot his lines in his first song, not sure if that's from lack of practice or just from freezing up. Ensemble: They barely sing, and when they do, they're not good. I guess that's where they put everyone who wasn't good enough to be a named character (understandable, considering this is a community production)

I specially hate that a lot of Eliza's lines were changed into christian propaganda. The reason why I love Eliza is because she can be sweet, kind, loving and motherly yet not be submisive to things she dislikes. When Alex dies, althought she never forgets him and tries to keep his memory, she also makes accomplishes things like creating an orphanage because she wants and has a pure heart and without anyone else influencing her. She does It because she thinks it's right. Meanwhile in this ilegal homophobic play she just talks about Jesus and how she made the orphanage to introduce children to him (which is hella creepy btw). I hate that That Would Be Enough originally was about her not wanting Alex to put himself in danger because she loves him and they could start a wonderfull life with or without American glory and instead in here it's just a "Pray to Jesus" song, completely forgetting how strong Eliza was in the original for getting him out of war just so he could at least see the birth of their son instead because of a "if u die you won't go to heaven because u don't pray"

It's also completely redundant. They were historically Christian already. She never had to try and convince Hamilton to be Christian. It's one of the reasons him committing adultery hurt so much; it was crossing their love and their faith. So not only is this a crappy re-write to capitalize on a good play, it actually makes they play they ripped off technically more historically accurate by comparison.

@@AnimeWolf5193right! And apart from real life, in the musical it shows hamilton later come to turns with God in a way in quiet uptown when he says he begins praying and going to church.
*The people exiting the play be like:* That was so good! Did you kids understand the message? That was such a good sermon

As far as I know at least Illegal Heathers wasn’t demonizing non-Christians and gay ppl
This is the perfect try not to laugh challenge.

Indeed they are, this is also the reason why she plays Maria. Because holding-hands-fake-cheating is still cheating, according to this church.

@@katani4322 that’s sounds really stupid… I’m sorry… it just does
if anything this just makes me appreciate the original so much more
1:03 what the hell that "history has it's eyes on you" part dude, washington's actor sound so dead inside
I love how they replaced christopher jackson, almost objectively the best singer in the original cast, with a guy who almost kinda looks like him, but also happens to be the worst singer in the scamilton cast.
"Her hand is in mine and I don't say no" Ah yes. Hand holding before marriage.
props to those actors for not braking charact-- oh wait, they were never in character in the first place
As a christian, this is not how we should do things 💀💀
The fact that they didn't want tge guy playing hamilton to have a relationship with someone onstage other than his wife so Mariah Reynolds is literally eliza in a wig is hilarious
The title confuses me “bad parts”? There were good parts?

Yes actually it’s not as bad as you guys try to say it is. It’s mainly because it has religious themes and some of the singing isn’t the best why y’all are so mad. It’s like a lot of school plays so it’s not crazy bad

Yeah I mean for a rip-off it’s not terrible. I mean obviously some parts are so bad like the New York or anytime Washington sings
2:58 Banished to the shadow realm for this absolute chaos of a play
ok the kid playing hamilton was genuinely not the worst singer, his vocals were clear unlike the other singers
The guy who played Burr carried this musical
2:17 the guy play George doing his best kid cudi impression

The girl playing Eliza thought she ate and left no crumbs
This looks like they had 1 week to learn it then perform it 😭
I love this in every way. This is the worst thing I have ever seen
That was my thought as well...."Did Peggy just power down?"
I wanted to scream "What are you DOING?!" so many times watching these kids fail to enunciate, project, cheat out, or do anything that would imply they rehearsed more than just the songs. Also, when they obviously lose confidence in a note ("Helpless," "The Schyuler Sisters") and you can hear the panic in their voices....omg.
This is quite literally the funniest thing I’ve ever seen
King George forgetting the words on repeat for 10 hours please it's SO FUNNY 💀💀💀💀

For everyone discovering this ( incouding those who already saw this ), these are all adults in their 20s ( except maybe Washington and King George ). Alexander and Eliza are actually married irl.
My favorite part was when Hamilton looked at burr and muttered, “it’s hamming time”
Why is this giving me “Hogwarts School of Prayer and Miracles” vibes

this had me crying 😭 THE VOICE CRACKS AND NO ONE WAS ON RHYTHM

These kids need divine intervention in the voice department.
This whole production honestly gives me more joy than official hamilton 😂
Some people are actually trying while others aren’t and it really adds to the expectations of this *thing*
God shed a tear this day What even is this production?
not but seriously, eliza is most likely the preacher's daughter- (no offense to them or anything, my advice to them, get some singing lessons asap if you're gonna do that again, and make sure the musical isn't illegal-)
This is the type of show that my parents would sign me up for not knowing it’s illegal 😭
The fact that they forgot that there are some French swear words in Scamilton…some poor kid unknowingly cussed out the King and thought he ate-
The new illegal heathers
"SAY NO TO THIS" "nooo" Also the guy playing washington was definitely trying to make his voice sound deeper I think
The way they all thought they ate but in reality were so bad😭
some of the voice cracks is giving me trauma when i was singing as a side villain and i voice cracked in front of the parents and guardians and i wanted to disappear after that
Oh GOD this hurts me so bad its so obvious they are not trained in singing and i cant stop laughing
did King George II REALLY chew gum on stage at 1:20 ?!
I also played this to my PhD in piano playing mum and she was cringing so hard she almost drove off the road /hj
This will follow these kids forever. This is horrific.
“History has its eyesss on youuuu :/“
The girl playing Eliza seems like the kind of girl to bully you in high school for not being Christian and call you racial slurs
The just you wait was actually pretty good
I can’t believe so many adults still have an imaginary friend named Jesus.
I feel like I’m watching my sister’s 2nd grade play all over again
