This is called an update! The Developer, a true developer who works only because of the love and respect towards music! Respect to the Man Creator of this video and respect to the creator of Scaler! BS like IK multimedia should’ve taken a 2 years crash course on how to be a true patron of music.

If it only produces block chords and suggests chords, it is not enough to create music with it. I am waiting for it to have trillions of different midi patterns in different genre styles.

It’s not just block chords. I make music with it all the time. You have to learn how to use the Humanize features and the Performance features. It doesn’t have midi patterns. It gives you chords that you can play to create patterns. All chords can be adjusted and changed depending on your style of music you wanna play. Scaler is wayyyy deeper than block chords.

To be clear, although it's entirely plausible that they will put out a Scaler 3 next, they are not actually limited by it being version 2.9. It's is a very common misunderstanding about version numbers. The next version just becomes 2.10, 2.11 and so on. That being said, it's not uncommon for developers to use it as target for the next major version.

I have a question about this software My situation is that I don't know music theory I don't know how to play a piano to save my life I'm a rhythm person so a drummer. Do you recommend scaler for somebody like me and using scaler will I be able to use it in ways without knowing how to play a piano?

Yeah it will give you chords and you’re just pressing the pads in a rhythmic way. You can turn on Himanize features to help make it sound natural.

Why Abm while Scaler is created for the also less educated musician. Especially with an updated version with new possibilyties it should be more clear in a major or minor chord such as C Em.... Isn't it?
