On the 92-94 im thinking the needle should actually sit at the 0 rpm and 0 mph
Nice video! I need to replace those lights in mine. I have not soldered before, but I do have some wiring experience, and I am delicate with my hands. Do you think I could pull it off? Also, what parts do I need besides the PLCC-2 lights?

Take your time, get some old electronics and practice soldering the lights to them or just together. It's very easy you just dab some solder on and connect the lights. You'll also need 28awg wire and lead tape for balancing. The best soldering iron imo is either a station from sra solder or a ts100 iron you can find all sorts of places. The ts100 needs a power supply though.

never fixed it, that whole cluster is gone i went full digital.
