Best story I've ever seen on ESPN!

I just sent this to “my” son. Asked him to please drive carefully on his way home. I can’t tell you how this story broke and touched my heart. Very few things can bring a father and son closer than playing catch. For life!

Wonderful story about the strength of love. I ordered books for my people (male and females) who played catch. My hope is they read the book, write another persons name in it and pass it to them. Keep the love alive.

Such a beautiful amazing story. A parents worst nightmare that I can’t even imagine. God Bless Ethan’s friends and family and his amazing Dad (Dan) for somehow pushing through this nightmare. Healing himself and others through the beautiful game of baseball by simply having a catch. My dad sent me this to me, and I had no idea what it was about. I just recently had rotator cuff surgery from a pitching incident, and I have definitely taken all of the times I’ve played catch with my dad for granted. This is a great story, and very emotional. Ethan is looking down on his dad from heaven and is very proud of him.
