CAPTION: Phillies pitcher Andrew Bellatti reached the pinnacle of his career last October, when he closed out a Game 3 World Series win over the Astros. It took 13 years for the 32-year-old journeyman to get to that moment. Much of his success is thanks to a woman named Lyn Reid whose mercy and forgiveness gave Bellatti a second chance at baseball… and life.

What a story. God bless the Reid family, just amazing people.
Story of strength from all parties and the ability to forgive a mistake. Wonderful. More of this.

I did so much as a dumb kid, I am grateful it didn't end in tragedy. God bless Mr.s Reid for not punishing the kid even more than the life long bearden he will carry for his action that day.
