Oh no, It's so sad the eggs get washed away. No, you left those jiggles there. WOW, That pink feather is so pretty. Y'all are so lucky to live near all those gorgeous beaches. That one oyster looked kinda like a kitten paw. I would love to have some larger scallops, oh gosh I just love them all. LOL You guys take care & stay safe.

They seem to like to nest near the grassy areas, so just out of tide reach usually! We have seen the geese build nests in our neighborhood that get flooded out with the really high tides though, so I feel sure these least terns do as well sometimes - lay in the areas that get breached by the sea. 😔 Thanks for joining us! 🌊🐚👣💙

I have missed walking on the beach with y'all, what with yard/gardening work taking up my time. Thank you for taking us along with you🌿🌾🦩🐚

Thank you Stephanie for telling us what the holes are. I kept seeing them and wondered. Thanks for taking us along on your walks. Our beaches here in west Michigan have sections roped off, the Piper Plovers nest on the beaches too. I love that they do that. Take care.

It's a pretty common hang out area for local boaters & is pretty busy during the summer time like most beaches. And, we were there in the middle of the day on a weekday, so you can see how it would be very busy on the weekend. But for the most part, people just come to hang out in that area on the beach for the day where it is safe to anchor the boat & don't stray too too far from their boats usually. Only the shellaholics like us are crazy enough to take the chance. 🤪🤔🤦🏼‍♀️

They are! It's amazing how big some get! 😲🥰🐚

The sound of the ocean in the back ground is so awesome. Always enjoy walking with you both! I like seeing if you walk all the way to the excavator! Do you ever find any of those buoys from crab traps washed up? We use to find a lot of them over on Sapelo Island in Georgia and Cumberland Island. Have to get there by boat also. Sapelo has some lodging. Very isolated. Very nice!
