Well, I wanted to try out a new bus route and after careful comparison between SBS Transit Bus Service 197 and Tower Transit Singapore Bus Service 66, I decided to go for SBS Transit Bus Service 197. When the bus passed by New Bridge Road Bus Terminal, it was starting to rain but I decided to keep on filming, having gone so far, there was no turning back and I decided to do whatever I can to have a good video, although it remains uncertain whether I will be filming this bus route again. The actual trip would have taken 2hrs and 10 minutes but this trip from Bedok Bus Interchange to Jurong East Bus Interchange was only 1hr and 53 minutes. Also, there is another bus that would be of intrest. As many bus enthusiasts know, a SBS Transit Leyland Olympian (2-axle) previously registered as SBS7169Z, converted near the end of its lifespan to a gym/playground for children known as Bobbie the Gymbus and was re-registered as YL8508R. And it would be somehow important to film that bus as it is considered a vintage bus from the past.
