Just a day after the structure of an uncompleted viaduct that was being built along Upper Changi Road East collapsed, there was news about a temporary diversion for SBS Transit Bus Service 24. The route was temporarily diverted to pass by Upper Changi Road North, Old Tampines Road and Loyang Avenue before heading to Changi Airport via the Tampines Expressway. While the diverted route for SBS Transit Bus Service 24 has been filmed, the original route for this service has yet to be filmed and there also other services, with the exception of Go-Ahead Singapore Bus Service 36* that loops at Changi Airport that has to be filmed. This is the second bus service to loop at Changi Airport, with the first being SMRT Bus Service 858. The bus model used for this trip is a Batch 1 Mercedes-Benz O530 Citaro registered as SBS6078M. This bus service is under the Seletar Bus Package.
