I was at a friend's funeral once, and I stepped back on the funeral home porch. I lost my balance and fell back on the lawn. People came running over, panicking. I was fine, and I was laughing at the situation, because instead of being afraid of hurting myself, the thought running through my mind as I was falling back was, "PLEASE Lord, don't let my dress raise up too high "!

My father (a Scottish man) says “if there’s room in the heart…there’s room in the home”… love this❤️

Fun Fact about me: I am a Certified Healer after being a Registered Nurse for 40 yearsMust say, one of the main reasons I watch you is because it rains a lot there. I live in drought most of the time here in Santa Barbara, California where water has a dear price! Also I watch as I am Irish- my grandfather was born and raised in Ireland. Your videos are something that I look forward to on Sunday morning here in Kansas, USA. I love your content so much and I'll miss seeing you both every week. One of the first things that pops into my head every Sunday morning when I wake is "It's Fairyland day!!!!!", I will miss your videos so much but I will go back and re-watch many of them. One of my favorites is "Minimal Irish Walk" with your Dad. I just love that one and I will play it when I need some relaxation. I wish you both the very best! My friend and I were just traveling through Ireland for 2 weeks and it is SO nice to now know which places you're talking about! Good on you for taking a break as you need. I know for creators it can be really anxiety inducing to step away from regular uploads and be at risk of the algorithm. The break will be well worth it to come back fresh and work on something else for a while. I've got the bell on and looking forward to seeing the notification come through whenever it does!

My first introduction to the faeries was when I was about 4. My dad and I came across a ring of mushrooms growing in the forest. I went to jump in the middle of it and he grabbed me by the arm and picked me up. We quickly left the area and he explained to me to never, ever disturb a faery ring. It was a thing of beauty to see but leave it fast alone. Interesting how that was passed down even through generations of immigration to the U.S. 🧚🏻‍♀️ Also, we have a small garlic farm. Every harvest we leave a bit of garlic in each row of the field for the faeries. In hope that they will bless us with a good harvest the following year and a thanks for not messing with our current one. 🙂

I fell into a big patch of nettles when I was about four. I was covered in nettle stings from head to toe but was more bothered about my ladybird book ‘Hannibal the hamster’ (not to be confused with Hannibal Lecture) that I had been holding at the time. My Grandma covered me in calamine lotion! So good to see you both again! You really make me laugh when you are together (Especially the bit about having guests stay over!).
