If TS was to,issue a Live Album, this venue would be it. Great acoustics and great talent, unbeatable combination.

I would be thrilled to see TS release a live album from this show. I have all the audio is archived - all they need to do is ask as it's their music not mine.

Here's another vote for the release of that live album. You, CineDevine, captured a wonderful video of a spectacular band. Although the band prefers to site in a wide shallow C, the fact they were forced to sit together for this venue is a plus for the viewer.

@@stevegrooms1142 Thank you Steve. The band really did shine on this night and I am grateful to have been there. I would be thrilled to see TS use this audio for a live album. I have no financial interest in this work as my non-profit mission is to support and promote classic jazz musicians and venues. Hoping I get the call someday.

A full appreciative audience and tin walls help.
Wow that clarinet by Craig Flory outstanding.Special mention to Barbabus&Shay and the gang.Good luck to Erica and her soon to be new addition.Keep the the music comming for many years to come.
The best clarinet player I've ever heard!
This tune is on Tuba Skinny's 2020 Bandcamp Album called 'Quarantine Album: Unreleased B Sides'.
Bobby Hackett, himself a great jazz trumpet/cornet player, commented to jazz critic & author Nat Hentoff about Louis Armstrong's artistry: "Do you know how hard it is to make melody come so alive?" Shaye has done it here and on all the other tunes her band plays. (From: a March 2017 edition of Jazz Lives blog.) Fantastic ensemble playing, great solos and wonderful energy from start to finish. Bravo TS!
This is outstanding. American classical music in all it's glory. That clarinet of Craig Flory with the tuba of Todd Burdick and the picking of Jason Lawrence unbelievable !!

Don't forget the bass drum swing ! It's a smal bass drum, and I think, a new sound in traditional music.
Tuba Skinny's ensemble playing is superb.
Superb quality recording. All come through loud and clear, especially the full richness of the wind instruments. Shaye's playing is particularly outstanding.
A great coordination of this groups performing this beautiful piece of music..Shaye does it well as usual, Jason Lawrence solo is unique with his banjo, Craig Flory at his best with his clarinet, Barnaby Jones solo on his trombone is amazing...Todd Burdick tuba blending along is nice...so does Max Bien Kahn resonant guitar does its' share along and the drum of Erika Lewis made it more awesome...

'Say Si Si' is a 1936 composition by Stillman, Lecuona & Luhan. It's a standard 32-bar tune with an exceptionally basic chord sequence. All three of the first three 'eights' can be played as four bars of the dominant 7th followed by four bars of the tonic. The final 'eight' is the familiar 'Sunshine Sequence'. The tune was popularised among jazz musicians by the late great Kid Thomas. Listen to his version, which I have loved for many years: kzread.info/dash/bejne/d6ilyLmzpKabepM.html. But excuse me if I'm boring you....!
Who would have thought that De De Pierce would be an influence?: kzread.info/dash/bejne/rJqdrtuye6XSgMY.html
Well done. But we need more light...

A small church without much lighting. I don’t see any good way to add light. 3:48
Nothing spectacular, by their standards. Just damned good individual performance & group coordination. The Best, and getting better. (That’s a wicked Tbone. He has to be the most syncopated guy in Louisiana! Just any old place in the beat is good for him…)

Fantastic Band / Terrible Song ....:-)))))
