I've always felt like this would have been a better installment if they all did listen and live. I know it's saw and there will be blood, but I think it would hand been a great change that they all did.

Which became the reason why these movies ended up sucking in the end, because as viewers we're supposed to care about the characters, but because of these arseholes are behaving we don't give a damn about happens to them

This comment is for anyone who doesnt understand what Jigsaw is talking about. When he says that "5 will become 1," he actually means that they should let ONE PERSON get the keys to unlock everyones collars. Either that or Jigsaw tricked everyone by not telling them that 1 key can work with other collars. When he said to do the opposite to what they want to do, he meant to NOT go ONE AT A TIME or else one person would be killed. Its all about teamwork people GET IT RIGHT :)

That was the point of the trap. "5 becomes 1" he didn't mean 4 others have to die, it meant 5 individuals had to work collectively as 1 group to all survive. I think at the end of the movie, he revealed that all of the locks and keys were the same, so only one person had to go for a key and could've passed it off before the 60 seconds were up.

XboxArcher Anytime there's a group involved, all are meant to survive. Though they never see the clues till the very end

if you've seen the movie you'll know that they were all meant to survive, 5 will become one will mean they will work as a team

Once I learned the rules I realized that you can just use the same key, I actually got really mad once I figured it out. In the movie you figure that out at the end but I literally figured it out like right away, in each trap if you look at ways for everyone to do the same thing and survive you can actually find every way they can all survive

All of them could survive this if they aren't selfish. On the first test, one could easily break the glass and give the key to others. For the second one, its obvious that atleast 2 persons could fit in those chambers and there were like 3 chambers. For the third test, Each of them could take 1 harmless shock rather than letting one person suffer. And for the final test, Its so obvious that if all of them weren't greedy and selfish, They wouldn't suffer and lose that much blood when all of them could easily divide it well

I love these saw series it's amazing when you find out what he means, especially for this movie five will equal one

I guess their life long instincts were just too much in the end for jigsaws huge hint. Nobody had to die here. Jigsaw basically spoon fed this game to them but they were all just too dumb to get it.

I have watched this when I was just 9 years old.

I think if they where a little bit smarter together nobody would die

The instructions were so simple.

Saw 5 was so good

Tie a knot in the steal cabel and wedge it between the blade. Leather collars can be cut with the blade too

One of the most painless traps tbh

Why not try breaking the padlock on the blades

In this trap aka the collar trap they can share the key because they're all the same The next one aka the ceiling jars the tunnels can fit 2 or even 3 people The other one aka the bathtub trap even if Ashley and Charles did die, they can still do a survivable shock to each person And the last one aka the 10 pints of sacrifice if they all live they don't need to cut that far in

we are all one. I don't like these kinds of films but it has a message.

Okay they didn't know all keys are the same, but rly wouldn't be so difficult to figure out that one person should get the key and remove their collar, and then break other boxes and just hand out appropriate keys to others.

They woke up: "all chill, friendly and team like" Video is over: "Fuak you all!!!" I love watching Saw movies after knowing the plot :)

they couldnt of. charles body was all dismembered and unusable. ashleys body was still in the 1st room, and all the rooms become locked when you move on to the next room. they COULD of taken her body with them, but they didn't know about the bathtub test at all

They could have easily just let one person go and get them the keys that they needed...

In the first room its cable and a set of blades behind them if you take the cable and quickly move it on the blade it will cut

This time, they were lazy. You can easy avoid this trap by sitting on the blade.

Or tell me how to fight off the mechanical force of the collars. Even if it was possible to sit on the blades, the force would robably tip them backwards, making them fall off and get decaptated anyway
