Invasive fish are destroying Hawaii's reef ecosystem, by competing for habitat and food, which our local fish need. They looked super good! I also ended up switching spots but lost track of time. It’s funny I was 5-10min away from your last spot and saw choke Roi. But only ended up shooting two. 🤫 for next year 🤙

Braddah Joe, that's alright you and Danny neva catch nothing. Main thing you guys had a good time with good grindz and also meeting other Braddah's in da tournament. Danny make one mean saimin. That's one thing I love about Hawaii, the Love and da Aloha. In Texas, to much racist and no respect. I glad I can say i from Kaneohe, Hawaii and can always move back home. Sick event! Bruddah you talking location based results on fishing? Ancient Hawaiians had it down pat with their understanding of the moon charts and timing of when fishing was gonna have high results. They also farmed fish so of course they had higher levels of knowledge about fish than we commoners do but we can still look to understand some things from their knowledge. Here's something that I would call true, if you see pole holders set into the rock and don't catch fish you were there on the wrong day because someone else is slaying at that spot.
That is a good the for maui island hope that fishing is not at bad as kauai its getting bad over here

These tournaments should be funded by the state government and should be held a lot more frequently. DNLR should also get involved....if they truly care about our ecosystem.....
