Everything is cool about this vid! The swap meet adventure...the haggling with the vendors and especially finding and using vintage gear! I really love using the old stuff just because it makes me feel like I'm fishing the way it was done way back when and it really makes me appreciate how good the gear is now.. Those mitchel garcia reels from the 60’s get strong steel gearing. My fathers one still going strong. In the late 70’s my friend bought one and the thing wen strip on the first good strike. He open um up had broken plastic parts. Keep the vids coming!🤙🏽

Brada Royce I'm pretty sure if you unscrew the screw on the left side you'll be able to pull out the handle and switch it to the left and screw it back from the right side, if not at least you can try, alot of the reels are universal and that one probably is.

The left hand reel retrieve you can try cast, then turn it upside down when you reel just like how the small kids do with the regular spinning reel, strange but can work sort of like the regular spinning reel. I enjoyed the journey to look, then find that vintage stuff at the swap meet and then on to catch some fish. Keep up the great posts and content! appreciate you taking us along!

Bruddah bruddah bruddah I shake my head on this one. You should be trying to reach out to another local fishing bruddah who works on/repairs their own reels to buy from instead of swap meet hustlers. I tell you right now the most true to this fisherman on my island make their own lures and work on their own reels, if you're true to this fishing game too though they'd sell you some gear on the low. I'm sure your guys Island has plenty people doing the same. Best part about this idea is when you connect with the contact killahs you can learn some new things sometimes.

This day we was already heading to the swap meet, so last minute I decided to look for fishing gear..
