The people who rescue ducklings from storm drains are heroes. You can find a thousand videos here on some kind of storm drain duckling rescue. Which is scary to think how many more incidents of ducklings getting stuck somewhere like that and dying, not being saved, there are.

I know poor mama! Once saw a story where some caught the babies then caught mom too by putting the box of babies in a large travel cage and the mom walked right in and was a little upset, but she just sat with her babies until they got to a lake a mile away. No problem for a car or flying, but walking ducklings, no. Great story. I can't find the video any more. Also in the name of the Moon we protect ducks!

Great job! Mama ducks seem to lack better judgement sometimes. We had a pool that the water was lower than normal and the mama duck and the chicks were stuck the babies couldn't get out for two days. I ended up making steps out of some spare bricks they ended up getting out but went right back in. Go figure. We left the rocks in there so they could leave as they saw fit. But very nice save thank you for sharing the video heart warming to eee
