A man after my own heart. Wearing PJ pants in his machine shop.. I like wearing old sweats and my flip flops.. Of course one has to watch their feet and be careful about metal chips, especially the hot ones. Nice project by the way.

No need to slot the boring bar, just drill a hole. Much simpler & more positive,tool can't move up or down under load. Use square or round tool steel. All the best. Keep on tinkering.
