animal testing is not nearly as cruel as what people think it is. Nothing is done if the animal can feel pain If an animal is hurt it is humanely euthanized. without animal testing animals or humans would not have any medicine and everything would be so much more dangerous. These animals were bred for research no random animal will get hurt. I am a vet who works for these tested animals. I make sure they aren't in pain and that they save many many more lives. Even if an animal dies its not in vein and dont let its death go to waste, Use medications and support humane animal testing!

Ralph once had a family, it seems he had 3 kids and a wife. After they experimented on all of them but Ralph survived. After their death he tries to forget and hold it in but he just has a certain emptiness that you can feel. Truly a touching short film that shows you the cruelty of animal testing. A loving being being tortured for the use of humans.

Its harsh how calm Ralph is and how his tone is so optimistic just makes me, well, sad as no single animal should have to do this.

The way he acted like everything was alright till the end, got me crying.

I didnt watch it it would be too sad but I was already thinking non stop about animal testing for several years even before this video came out. I spend all my time finding scientists online and insulting them. I met many sick fucks online. The stuff they said haunts me. I met thousands of scientists no exaggeration and doctors. The whole medical field and scientific is based on animal testing. The whole fields should be destroyed. All medical research and scientific is mad Science experiments on animals. They have to stop making medicine it's torture. It's better for people to die than torture the weak and defenceless. Not saying refuse medicine that's impossible and those taking it aren't to blame for this atrocity. But they shouldn't make it in the first place.

@whesley hynes y'all missed the point. They're specifically talking about animal testing of cosmetics. Lipsticks, shampoos, deodorants. They are trying to ban unnecessary cruel testing. Medical testing is a different beast out of the scope of what this video os protesting. Though soon we may be able to be rid of that as well with further advances in medicine.

Sure, if you're willing to sacrifice yourself and your family for the sake of science i'm sure plenty of animal lives will be spared. But the testing has to keep going. We can't possibly fathom the effect of a certain medicine or cosmetic product without testing it on a genetically resembling living organism. And we can't survive without medication so 🤷

@@aseelanza I agree, but they are testing products on animals that don’t need to exist. They’re testing makeup, which isn’t essential for humans to survive. It’s a luxury. If we’re killing innocent animals to have this luxury, it really begs the question: do we really deserve the luxury?

I didnt watch it it would be too sad but I was already thinking non stop about animal testing for several years even before this video came out. I spend all my time finding scientists online and insulting them. I met many sick fucks online. The stuff they said haunts me. I met thousands of scientists no exaggeration and doctors. The whole medical field and scientific is based on animal testing. The whole fields should be destroyed. All medical research and scientific is mad Science experiments on animals. They have to stop making medicine it's torture. It's better for people to die than torture the weak and defenceless. Not saying refuse medicine that's impossible and those taking it aren't to blame for this atrocity. But they shouldn't make it in the first place.

I started crying when all the rabbits said to leave Ralph alone.

As a person who loves rabbits and have six of those lovely fur babies myself this really hurted me to the point i felt the actually squeezing in my chest. No animak deserves and im honestly ashamed of this world. May all those sweet and loving fur babies rest in piece and i hope they all have a good life in their spacial place 💜

this made me cry so hard. it’s so heartbreaking that us humans, the beings that have the most control vs. other mammals use it to harm. like damn humans are so mean 😢

the fact that they had to humanize a rabbit in order to call for empathy. The reason for this short film to be so impactful is that they make you think about the rabbit as an equal: He lives in a home like yours, he talks about his family and friends, he lives like us until his "work" takes all that away. The team behind this animation did great. People who don't think about animal lifes being as important as theirs, had the opportunity to change that thought with this video.

I’m proud to say that in all my years of living i haven’t used one cosmetic that used animal testing for their research 👍 ( mostly bc I’m only aloud to use chapstick but i hope i keep that title until all animal testing is over )

I just realized that almost all the products I use are not animal tested and I’m going to stick with that my family is not rich so we can’t by fancy products but I’m gonna buy the products I can that are not animal tested. I just found out today what animal testing ACTUALLY is. And I’m heart broken. I watched numerous other videos and I’m gonna try my best not to buy animal tested products.

I think about animal testing all day everyday for years. I find scientists and doctors online and insult them everyday. I met thousands no exaggeration. All psychopaths the stuff they said haunts me. The only way to stop this atrocity is to stop curing disease and stop advancing science. All science and medicine is based on mad Science experiments on the weak and defenceless. It should all be destroyed. They should stop making medicine it's better for people to die than to do nazi experiments to save them. I'm not saying refuse medicine it's impossible and those taking medicine aren't responsible at all for animal testing I take medicine myself. But ya they should stop making it. Modern medicine and science should be destroyed that's the only way to stop mad Science experiments. I hope youre not one of the ones on this page who still support animal testing for medicine but not cosmetics. Being against animal testing means against it for medicine too. Everyone is against it for cosmetics even the most psychopathic people on the planet even the mad scientists themself are against it for cosmetics. Being against it only for cosmetics mean you support animal testing while heartedly.

There’s products what I have to use what are animal tested.. because I’m allergic to most this made me wanna cry..

@@stantamara1959 please don't give up brushing your teeth, the rabbit wouldn't want you to feel the pain of losing your teeth, that doesn't help him. There is makeup / toothpaste / soap / shampoo that isn't tested on animals and isn't sold in countries where testing is obligatory. It takes a while to get familiar with which brands to use but it is so worth it and once you've done it it's easy to just keep buying them.

My eyes are literally prickling with tears, I have two rabbits whom I hold very dearly. I cannot imagine them being hurt like this.

currently, i’m fostering a rabbit who was rescued from a testing lab. she’s beautiful and such a gentle soul, and it breaks my heart when i just move my hand and she flinches in fear. it’s taken a while to get her comfortable with being petted, and though she’s made incredible strides and has become much happier, she’s going to have a long road to being a normal rabbit. i can’t imagine the thought process of anyone that says this is okay.

Rabbits don't build game reserves, farmland or do anything usefull other than look cute. Yeah but soaps and shampoos are essential... there's alternatives of course, some more expensive than others. Or you can make your own. For example my grandma likes to wash her hair with egg mixed with essential oil or sometimes dry rice (yes really).
