I mean, I heard of a veganic farm in India where the animals are soley used for their manure. I'm not too interested in veganic farming because the animals I raise have to be kept at a certain male to female ratio otherwise they will suffer immensely. So I eat the extra males. However they are raised outside and used for their manure and natural behaviors.

Man, I love how this didn’t take a horrible dark turn.

I worked on a pig farm like that and I must say it is VERY clean in there. This animation could have looked a lot worse for the pigs if it were realistic, haha. The only times the areas were that clean was right after they were sprayed down with high pressure water. The instant the moms go back in there's crap. The next day will have food and sometimes maggots if the worker before you didn't empty out the old food before topping it off. Flies everywhere. Dusty air (and everything else).

I wish reality for pigs ended like that though 😔😞

That would be impossible because the majority of people eat animals, so there would be no way to efficiently kill them and make a profit from animals without treating them horribly. Currently, about 77 billion animals are slaughtered for food each year, so there's just not enough room to raise that many animals in a way that they wouldn't be suffering the whole time. To add to that, corporations only care about money, so they wouldn't change their system to a less efficient one for the benefit of the victims. Farms should have cameras and regular inspections.

In my country, everywhere you go you can see cows, sheep and other livestock animals outside being cared for. They also have their own shelters. They’re never stuck inside 24/7 or tortured. They’ve a very good and social life until their time has come, which is only a split second.

bro i can't believe this farm worker actually "feels" for the pigs lol, i am shocked why they are not bacon yet. so can they just die already? like meat taste good and does not cause fucking diabetes, we have been eating animals for 1000's of years and thats not gonna change. unless they are cats they should be food. animals are here FOR us, not with us.

this deserves a lot more attention and people should really take this seriously.

The old farm is what farms nowadays SHOULD BE

I know this seems sad, but one lesson that is really hard to accept even for me, is that is just how our enjoinment works, humans cannot survive without the right nutrients in meat, and if you were thrown into a pig pen they would eat you alive. Things eat things, and that is how it has been like for billions of years. But it's not eating the meat that is the problem it is the way they hurt the animals before they kill them, that makes it hurt full. If an animal died of natural causes or you knocked it out first, it's alright in my opinion, but if you torture it and hurt it and make it a long death while they are alive, that's the problem.

My mom really just said “chickens like to be in small spaces with a million other chickens” and “chickens like to eat corn” and “I wouldn’t eat a chicken if it ate worms”

chickens actually get so stressed in modern factory farms they peck the weak/sick individuals to death, they're meant to live outdoors in a small group (10-20 chickens and a rooster)

I like how it’s a mix with 2D and 3D
