So not only is ed a starbucks connoisseur he is also now knowledgeable about potatos, is there any end to that mans talents 😂 Amazing bag as usual and i think when travelling to collect the bags its always worth getting 2. You always use everything which is amazing. Id love the aldi bags but its the collection time that puts me off 😅

Haha! Yes he knows his way around a potato. Try getting Aldi bags for a Sunday if you can, the collection time is much more reasonable than it is on a weekday xx

Good afternoon Claire…being in the states, my area only has surprise bags from restaurants, not grocers. Anything one can do to feed their family with whatever the budget is, is great. You do a great job making your meal plans coincide with your surprise bags

Watching this i am convinced i can go for a mystery bag from morrisons as i am a vegan, i will share whatever what i cant have with my neighbor. Thank you for the video.

If only we could get such surprise bags here; in my area, pizza and bagels are my choices with an occasional Mexican restaurant. Great bags today.

Hi Claire, I admit to using pre-prepared veggies because I am partially sighted and sharp knives and I don't mix. I havent had any magic bags for a while because it means going out in the dark and I dont like doing that. The last magic bag I had from Morrisons contained boxes and boxes of eggs, I had to give them away to my neighbours there were so many of them.

Same here. I’m disabled in both hands ( not arthritis but too boring and complicated to explain here) so always buy prepared fruit and vegetables because I can’t use sharp knives. I’m likely to chop my fingers off!

Colcannon is Irish. Brought up on it , with Irish parents and 6 weeks Summer holiday in Ireland . Bliss x

Great value! Colcannon is traditionally made with kale, and is usually served at Hallowe'en. Originally it would have "charms" included, like a coin for wealth, or a piece of rag for poverty!

This might be two of the best bags yet! So many possibilities with those veg. I have never tried freezing lettuce/greens, only spinach. So that big bag of lettuce wouldn't go slimy when thawed? You could always pop it into soup once thawed. Would love to see a video on Ed's lunches. I was cooking up recipes in my head as you showed us the contents!

Oh the spring greens are cabbage 😊 it freezes pretty well. I used it up pretty quickly though (mostly for the rabbit) xx

If it’s a use by I’m more cautious and try to use things straight away but yes I do. Best before dates definitely. It’s a judgement call, if I get meat in a bag that’s on its last day I will freeze it. Freezer anarchy!! Xx

Those were good boxes last time I got one from Morrison’s it wasn’t the best food quality wise packets were open and almost everything was past its best

Morrisons and Aldi bags are my favourite but i do find with Morrisons there are repeats of products, i hate food waste and one day i had 2 boxes and ended up with 11 bags of coriander 🙈

A pound in the US is like 1.25. That's not including the fact that it's alot more expensive here anyway. We would be lucky to get the noodles on discount for around 4 dollars or about 3.5 pounds? I'm trying to figure out this money conversion. Does your daughter still love grapes instead of mommy lol!😂😂😂❤❤❤

🤣🤣 she has now said ‘I love mummy’ which is magical to hear but she’s a twonager so there are a few days when she’s not so keen on me 🤣 it definitely seems from US hauls I watch like food is cheaper here at the moment xx

Its odd how diff morrisons do their bags - ours is most often bakery only - would love the fruit &veg you get. I just get fatter eating cookies and a freezer full of bread 😂

I have just got a box from Morrisons and it was no where near as good as yours. I had a loaf of gf bread and gf rolls dated 16th Jan! I don't know if they have been frozen but not really impressed. Everything was out of date but edible.
