I love so much "Le Mâle Elixir" ❤ but i find that "Sauvage Elixir" is the best of the range. It has this little something more than the other versions of "Sauvage". I understand why so many people love "Sauvage Elixir" : It's more mature, classier with a dark and wild side, and lasts a little longer than "Le Mâle Elixir" if i'm not wrong. But i have to say that i do prefer the sweeter and rounder side of JPG's perfume. It's very sweet, intense, strong, but very well done (to me).

The jean paul can be sharp and sweet if you whiff it like that but long term its a beast it lasts for days and it's very pleasant. The elixir is muture and a room filler. Both are amazing i love em.

I got both of these bottles on the same week (a month ago) and I do like the JPG one better. I've only ever smelled Sauvage Elixir in the store before. My roommates have Sauvage EDP and Parfum, and JPG Le Male Le Parfum so I've quite accustomed to their "DNA" of sort but I do love both of these a lot just more towards JPG.

JPG Le Male Elixir for me…just waiting on that 200ml bottle of it so it can match most of my others in the Le Male lineup

I was surprised to see men liking JPG. And surprised that Sauvage did so well, especially since Sauvage Elixir doesn’t smell near as good on paper as it does on skin and in the air.

I have both both are great savage Elixr is bit stronger but JPG Elixr smells a little bit better on skin after dry down

I’ve been told by an auntie that just from the atomiser Sauvage Elixir is lovely

Recently sprayed le male elixir twice on my arm , didn't shower but could smell it 16 hours later. Smells amazing after drying down. Cant decide if i need it after buying le parfum

I love both but I've gotten more compliment from the Sauvage, personally for me, i find the JPG Le Male Elixir smells more pleasant but it doesn't last as long as the Sauvage Elixir

Dior Sauvage Elixir vs YSL Y Elixir next!

Just brought from boots and it's so so weak compared to the 2022 batch iv got. Done 1 spray on each arm and new one was completely gone after 5 hours. Can't believe they've re formulated it and not made it public. My old one project's like crazy and lasts all day

I'd have 2 sets so they can smell le male first sometimes. I know that I generally prefer a smell that I smell when I'm fresh.

I myself also prefer the manliness of Sauvage. It’s the trend hyper for a reason. Not only because of Cptn Sparrow was the face of Sauvage, but the all around masculinity the scent exudes 💪🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

I call it DSX .

I have a really good collection and these two late bloomers really dominated my parfume preference. You can smell like Le Male Elixir for a day and you would feeld pretty f******g awesome. That smell is just so smooth, inviting and relentless in projection and performance. But, Sauvage Elixir can really be put into Niche category. Presence, dominance, energy and that warmth, inviting smell is just irresistable. However it is true for both , everyone will remember you the day tomorrow since everything you touch or get close will smell "Elixir" the next 24 hours. Both incredible, and both a must own. Totally different smells and vibes, yet they can only be compared to each other in designer houses' fragrances.

My man, Sauvage Elixir is fucking masterpiece. The nutmeg, lavender and licorice is incredible combination. I love it since the release.

Surprising results. I would’ve automatically assumed that Women liked the sweet smelling JPG Elixir over the very Masculine Sauvage Elixir.

Not surprising to me, especially young girls can't get off me. Sauvage Elixir is one of the best if not the best instant smash fragrances from my expierence. Its the Le Male, 1 Million, Fierce, SWY etc of today.

Ummm no, Sauvage is basically the ONLY fragrance young women know. Its ridiculous

When I smelled sauvage elixir it straight up smelled like a regular fresh fragrance with some sort of medical herb and it was not nice at all, jpg elixir is now my second favourite of all time behind the og LE male from I think 95

Savauge elixir is my signature scent.Guys I attract compliments like a heavy magnet

I wonder if the weather had a say in this video. I feel like Le Male Elixir changes quite a bit in the heat.

I wore Dior savage elixir yesterday and had a compliment on it and I generally never get compliments on my many colognes. I only did 2 sprays and it lasted all day!

Sauvage is the best smelling ever,the only fragrance I’ve ever had that people can still smell on me at the end of the day,,,,,,will they discontinue it soon I wonder.,.

I would like to see the same battle repeated again but with younger women under 35yo. Would be interesting to see if the results were still the same.

I tried Le Male Elixier on a tester strip and on my skin and it was significantly better smelling on my skin (also after some hours). My gf loved it while she thought sauvage Elixier kind of smells like Axe body spray...

Even though they are both designer fragrances I think sauvage elixir is going more towards niche its long lasting and projects really well. It is also fairly unique in terms of delivering something outside the usual predictable designer stuff

Gave me a bad headache. I had to smell JPG Le Male elixir to ease my migraine. I honestly was very disappointed. I can’t understand how people like it. Honestly. I asked to women which one they preferred and they both chose JPG and they definitely didn’t like Sauvage elixir, it was on my skin one smelt it 30 minutes after I sprayed the second woman smelled it 2 hours after spraying. It wasn’t a surprise they chose JPG. Sauvage is really not good.

Dior elixir is another level compared to JPG's. On it's own JPG elixir is awesome fragrance too. No mistake having them both along with Scandal le parfum.

My husband puts on dior sauvage elixir and the amount of customers and colleagues appreciate and highly praise him is insane!!! Every single day he gets praised! Always!

Hmm sauvage elixer is my least complimented fragrance I have. JPG le parfum, Eros parfum, chanel bleu parfum, tom ford nior extreme parfum, paco rabanne parfum and ysl y edp have all gotten a ton of compiliments. I also owned sauvage edp and parfum and they got me more compliments as well. To me sauvage elixer is on the level of pdm carlisle smells good in small sprays but not compliment pulling to mass public.

When you ask non fragrance heads what fragrance the like dior sauvage the original is right up there, it is something about the dna so I can see why Elixir version did well against le male elixir

Why do I want an ice cream all of a sudden? 🍦😍 But why not layer them? The best of both worlds. One honey and tobacco, and one nuclear lavender holocaust. That'd actually make an interesting third option. I wonder how well it would do against the individual scents themselves?

This video highlights the problem with the general public and fragrances. They hear the name and don't realise it's a flanker or even what a flanker is and how very different flankers are to the originals i.e. completely different fragrances. I cannot stand dior sauvage but absolutely love sauvage elixir.

I have sauvage elixir and is one of my favorites of all don't get me wrong le male elixir smell fantastic untill you let it pass at least 30 minutes in my opinion.

Sauvage smells good but it gives me a headache, stuff is so strong

I trully think Sauvage Elixir is the best Perfume of them all. Its literally unkillable (its been through more than 12 hours, swimming, showering and its still have a good smell in 1 foot away) and on clothes it will stay up to more than 2 weeks (it was sprayed on light jacket) Sure creed aventus, de maley layton is and others is nice but I bet it wont be a beast in terms of smell and performance. Sauvage Elixir smells like a niche because its quite different from the usual Sauvage line Smell is a 9.5 for me Sillage/projection is a 12/10 Longevity is over 9000 😂😂😂 Trully a masterpiece

This test is irrelevant as JPG changes so much on my skin over time. It's like Le Parfum, then the honey makes it more complex, then the tabaco takes over and it dries down dark and mysterious. ( at least that's what I got when I tried it on skin)

Sauvage Elixir walks it for me tbh, not too keen on Le Male Elixir 🤷🏻‍♂️

The thing is, most women’s fragrances are sweeter, hence why I actually think women would’ve prefer the males fragrances that was not sweet, therefore Sauvage Elixir smells more masculine up against the Le Male Elixir.

Mannnnn....smh.. I just blind bought La Male Elixr today (8/2/23) and was super excited after watching all of the various fragrance reviews and the fact that my La male Parfum is a compliment monster.......sprayed the Elixr for the first time and thought it was just......meh in comparison to the regular parfum. Not saying it was bad, but it was about a 6.5/7 out of 1 to 10. The regular La Male Parfum is an easy 9. I returned the Elixr the same day I purchased it smh I'll stick with what works (for me)- La Male Parfum as my signature scent.

Its logical most men prefer le male cause its sweeter...women in general prefer masculine scents...sauvage elixir is amazing although ive had a girl tell me once its too strong...never get intimate wity a girl right after you spray it wait at least 5 hours hahah that stuff is too strong especially first 2 hours but after a few hours it leavrs a heavenly scent....the point is to use sauvage elixir when going out at night or cold weather , especially for dates or restaurants it gives a heavenly projection, if you expect people are gonna be too close to you or closed environment you might hear complaints in first few hours...bottom line if used right i rate as one of the best fragrances out there and no mor3 than 4 sprays max so its economical in case yiu think its expensive...usually 3 sprays are more than enough unlike most other fragrances

Agree that women love the smell of Sauvage Elixer on men. I’m a woman who enjoys wearing men’s fragrances. I find them more interesting than Women’s frags. Anyhoo, I own both of these. Wore Sauvage Elixer to work one day and one of the women told me that what I was wearing they’d love for their man to smell like that! I still took it as a compliment that I smelled great and that even on a woman it still gives masculine sexiness that straight women will gravitate to. I enjoy the smell of Le male Elixer on me more than the Sauvage though. As a woman wearing Sauvage Elixer, I have to exude confidence to pull it off, but the Le Male Elixer makes me feel confident. Sauvage Elixer is def a man’s fragrance in every sense of the word and a man wearing it will def make heads turn.

I appreciate Sauvage Elixir like I appreciate art, but I don't appreciate it as a fragrance. It's a great smell, but I hate smelling it on people. It's so loud and offensive for anything but very special events. It also screams middle eastern spices to me, and find it weird smelling it on white westerners. Just my two cents.

Why compare 2 different animals?? doesnt make sense. 1 is sweet the other 1 is fresh, you would think u will need both of them cause they serve different situations

Sauvage Elixir higher quality but the scent itself I don't really care about, smells old. Le Male Elixir for me all day.
